Fun Run
THE FUN RUN is a shorter distance for kids under ten years of age and their families and will begin immediately following the 5k (around 9:00 am). There is no cost for this race but registration is appreciated on site (we will have a special registration table for the Fun Run). Fun Runners will get an “official” runners bib with an opportunity to win a great prize and a special ribbon at the finish line ... everyone’s a winner in this race!

7TH ANNUAL TURKEY TROT 5K AND FUN RUN!
We're off and running with our 2011 Turkey Trot & Fun Run where our popular 5k route will take trotters through historic Purcellville neighborhoods and down Main Street, starting and ending the race at the Loudoun Valley Community Center, the beneficiary of the fundraising event. Running clubs have praised the committee as one of the best races in western Loudoun -- from the awesome prizes (both for raffle and for winners of race) and a most interesting route. While it might be a little hilly, it's the scenery along the way in our charming town that makes it so special!
Many thanks to the 418 5k runners, our 100+ Fun Runners in 2010 and to our sponsors for your generous support! The Turkey Trot 5k is a fundraiser for the advisory board of the Loudoun Valley Community Center, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Together we raised almost $8,000 at last year's event to benefit the center's ongoing effort to provide scholarships and financial aid to those in need in western Loudoun for pre-school, after/before school care and day care programs. Funds raised also suppport programming benefitting the community. Together we can make a difference in our community (and have fun at the same time!)... Come out this year for a great morning of fun!

You can register at the Loudoun Valley Community Center or by downloading our REGISTRATION FORM above. Be sure to drop by or mail in your payment and completed form by October 31, 2011 and take advantage of our early bird discount ($25 before 10/31 and $30 after...)
