This is the second display for the Quilters/knitters/sewers of St.Mark
The dresses will be given to underprivelidged young girls, many have never had a dress before,,,and the quilts will be given to the veterans and other needy groups. The knitted items will be for the soldiers and babies in need. Our ladies who make these items are truly angels of mercy.
These young girls were given the dresses made from pillowcases and with loving care. These photos finally arrived to show how wonderful they look in their very first dresses!
Sadly we learned this week that the earthquake in Haiti in early January 2010 took the lives of 100 of the 110 girls who lived at the school. Sadly two of the nuns were also taken as well. The school completely collapsed and they were buried. God bless these young girls and keep them in his care.
