Great Comments Ellen ! But in all honesty the comments from Daddy B shouldn't even be dignified with a response. If Daddy B is who I think he is, his son doesn't play for us anymore. He wasn't out there Saturday, he didn't watch the pride those coaches showed to the boys when great plays were made, or the agony when a play fell short of the mark. Daddy B wasn't there to see the coaches build the boys up. All Daddy B knows is how to tear people down. My son is not a coaches son, but he still feels that he is important to the team as well. He was proud of the catch he made on Saturday, as was the coaches. So please know to all who reads this, we appreciate you coaches and all you do to be good role models for our boys! We love you! GO RAMS!!! From Water Mom

"What a scam!" says "Daddy B" hidden from behind the convenient mask of anonymity. What a joke is more like it. Let me tell you something "Daddy B" .... as the wife of one of those coaches, I know first-hand how much blood, sweat, and tears they put into coaching this team, and developing the boys -- not just to enjoy football and excel at it, but to learn valuable teamwork skills which will benefit them for life. I also know (first-hand) how many HOURS they spend preparing to coach, actually coaching, reviewing game film, and agonizing over game-day decisions, commitments, and maneuverings. They don't show up at 6pm and leave at 7:30 on practice day, or get off with the 2 hours on game day. Their commitment to the team began back in March when they started putting together the play-book, and the success of THE TEAM (not my son, or another coach's son!) is constantly foremost on their minds. Trust me, I hear about it all the time! It occasionally comes at a steep price to their "real" jobs and sometimes their family lives, but they do it because they are fully committed to these boys -- and no, not just their own. YOURS TOO! ALL of these precious boys! So, "Daddy B" .... if you have a better idea of how things should work, man up and talk to the coaches about whatever concerns you, or better yet VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME TO BE A COACH. Until such time, keep your bitter and sarcastic comments to yourself.

As I have said in the past, I am happy to visit with anyone who has questions or concerns. Snide comments and/or implications are not productive so please let me know who you are and when you would like to visit so we can resolve your obvious confusion about this team and our decision process.

We have 6 super coaches. These are unpaid dads that are willing to volunteer lots of their time to work with all of the players on the Rams Football team. Not all of the coaches sons are starters, and no position is decided in advance. All of the players (including the coaches boys) have to fight for and earn their position. Every player has an equal opportunity to earn any position. The best players get to play as they try to have a winning team this year. If anyone has an ugly comment or concern it would be much better resolved by just talking to the coaches.

7 coaches (all dads) with their 7 boys poised for glory! The rest of the team is there for strategic support. What a scam!
