Each year, UW Extension, the City of Hurley, the Hurley Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hurley K-12 third grade students get to-gether and plant flowers. This year, Giovanoni Greenhouse donated the flowers for the project.

For at least eight years, Bill Hall of the Iron Horse has provided hot dogs and Kool Aid. Other treats have been provided by Super 1, Sharon's Coffee Company and the Dairy Queen.
