A professional troupe formed in December 2008 of Tribal Style belly dancers based out of the Santa Barbara County area in Central Coast California. Tribal Style belly dance is a format based upon synchronized group improvisation; our style is a sassy ITS fusion of traditional and modern dances. REDC intertwines African flavors, Indian textures and Gypsy funk into our unique repertoire of movements, visual and verbal cues to execute complete synchronicity within the group. Each and every performance is original and ever changing; it is "art created in the moment". Here you'll find updated pictures, videos and news about us. Visit us regularly and see what we're up too!

THIS is REDC's dream, our one wish, the biggest long term goal that we wish to achieve for ourselves and we will work hard raising money for as long as it takes! This multi-phase training is designed to impart a strong, creative and dynamic foundation to one’s belly dance practice, and as a way to complement and converse with the many belly dance styles. The intention of this student-centered approach is not to teach a set style of belly dance, but rather, seeks to explore the underlying architecture of many dance styles, honoring traditions, while encouraging discovery, excellence, innovation and joy!
Wow...what an experience, REDC raised money all year for this trip and it was well worth all the hard work and practice. We had a BLAST, Seattle was a very fun and interesting area, great seafood, friendly people and LOTS of tribal! The Cues and Tattoos festival was awesome & the dancers and workshops were fantastic, how could we go wrong?! We all even came back with a permanent souvenir in honor of our adventure and celebration to ourselves, a Rare Element Tattoo, needless to say we will be returning next year with much anticipation! Tally-Ho!
