Dunkirk 70th

Return of marchers to Dover Monday 31 May
Soldiers returned from a 65 mile march in France to Dover, and were received at the Club.

Boulogne rally 5/6 June 2010 see pics in gallery

Only two boats (Rush & Augustina ) undertook the Boulogne weekend. We managed to sail for aprox 5 mls then motored into Boulogne so no real race or Cruise. We met up with Expression (Chris & Monica Steward) and after a soirée into the Boulogne Yacht club we went for a meal up in the town - 5 crew from Augustina 4 from Rush 2 from Expression. The Rush crew returned to the club for a nightcap and met up with the stewardess who gave us a Boulogne Burgee, Polo shirt for Pete,Tee shirt for Mel and a tie for me. We thanked them for their hospitality (no one could speak French) but did not get to meet the new President.
