Shared Psychotic Disorder
Every day people find themselves in unhealthy or psychotic relationships that they seem trapped in or for some reason  cannot break free from. Spiritually, the real reason this occurs is because of fornication. A dating relationship that becomes deeply involved in sexual soul-ties often become emotionally psychotic and painful; especially when the relationship comes to an end. God ordained sexual intimacy between a man and a woman who are legally married. Most of the time, before a person gets involved sexually with their mate, they have already discerned some issues that concern them about their mates mental or emotional state. But, for some reason they believe that they can help "change" them and they will live happily ever after. WRONG! Why? Because what they don't understand is that when a person is facing emotional meltdown, a psychotic delusion develops in their minds; and because of the context of a close relationship with someone who already suffers from post traumatic stress or emotional delusion, the person closely associated with a delusional person develops the emotional delusion too! Stress and fear is believed to play a role; and a person who have experienced extreme rejection, abuse, or isolation, can also contribute to the development of this disorder.
Please take your time to get to know your mate spiritually before you get involved emotionally. If you feel that this could be an issue that your are currently facing, please seek help or contact one of the Counselors in this network for a personal counseling assessment.
