Welcome to Red Door Photography

Hi!  My name is Renee.  I live in Vienna Virginia with my husband Scott and our beautiful baby boy, Benjamin.  And I LOVE photography.  At one time in my life I thought I would become a professional photographer, and may still some day, but now I have a full time job chasing my toddler.  Red Door Photography is a way I that I can do both.  I have started taking pictures of friends and thier children as a way to gift them with some precious photos, continue to do something I love AND sharpen my skills. 

I am giving this website a try as a way to share the pictures that I take with the families of my supermodels :)  Let me know what you think!

Latest news

I am BACK :)

As many of you know, I am now about 6 months pregnant with our second son (due in October).  I was so fired up about pictures at Christmas time (and had a blast with the Santa hats and all my little friends :)  Then, I got pregnant - and went into what I like to call "1st Trimester Hibernation!"

But the cronic fatigue syndrome (aka 1st trimester while chasing a toddler) is over and I am doing pretty well.  But getting big fast and figure I have a small window this summer before the 3rd Trimester slowdown, followed quickly by the 'I have a newborn' screeching halt.

All that to say, I am back and loving it...
