On a beautiful sunny winter day, members of the Knitting Club of American Turkish Association visited Ronald McDonald House in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The facility was built in 1989 and can house up to 29 families. This cozy and warm environment was filled with caring volunteers. It was a wonderful learning experience for all of us.
Our visit lasted 45 minutes. It was great to see that construction of their new full kitchen will be completed soon.
We left 10 blankets with books for residents to Warm Up and Read!
