Great Lakes Bulletin and Lake County News-Sun featured the beam signing ceremony hosted by the University for the Interprofessional Education Center and new College of Pharmacy on Jan. 20. Trib-Local Gurnee and Yahoo News highlighted the College of Pharmacy for receiving pre-candidate status from the Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education on Jan. 24. Science Daily featured an article on the importance of exercise for those at special risk for Alzheimer's, based on the collaborative study conducted by the Cleveland Clinic, Marquette University, Wayne State University and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. January 2011 edition of Chicago Magazine cited Janice L. Gilden, MD, Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology as one of the top Diabetologists/Endocrinologists in the Chicago area. Advance magazine featured Lawrence Perlmuter, PhD, Psychology professor, in an article entitled, "Impact of Blood Pressure on senior health, pediatric learning and behavior." |
