 ~MULTI AWARD WINNING BAND~

 The group consisting of veteran Bluegrassers Stefan Van Holten, Doug Moerschfelder and Bill Koop, later joined by  self-proclaimed "red neck" bassist Joe Rohrer, was formed in April, 2008. Their vocal skills and versatility on a number of stringed instruments including banjo, guitar, mandolin, dobro, bass, harmonica and occasionally mountain dulcimer, make all sorts of combinations possible, allowing them to develop the full repertoire that identifies bluegrass music. Because of their versatility and large repertoire, they have been asked to play in places ranging from a few dozen people in a little country church, to thousands at large outdoor festivals. 
 
Rich close harmony, great dynamics, exciting instrumentals, humour and novelty songs are the hallmark of this versatile group, and have made them very popular, but because the guys believe their music should portray the priorities set by the "father of bluegrass" Bill Monroe, and also reflect their own lifestyles, a sizable portion of their repertoire consists of gospel songs. Close attention to detail and a good sense of appropriateness combined with a natural spontaneity helps them to adapt to any venue from a bluegrass festival to a Sunday morning church service. We are a Canadian bluegrass band from the Hamilton-Niagara Region.
