~Personal Info~

Doug Moerschfelder (Lead, Harmony vocals, Guitar, dobro) resides in Hagersville, On. with his wife Cindy, nominated for  'MALE VOCALIST' IN 2009, 2010, 2011 & most recently 2012 and is there any doubt with his powerful voice, he has a wide range that can be strong and forceful on any song or gentle on many others. Dougs background is gospel often playing with Earl Sault on 100 Huntley Street until he met Stefan at a Bluegrass Festival who convinced him to team up with him in a Bluegrass band.

Stefan Van Holten (Banjo, Lead, Harmony vocals) not only plays the banjo with a hard driving style of his own but is a prolific songwriter with songs such as Red Hill Creek, Love Went Away, Lost Time and recorded on their Gospel cd ‘Time Has Come’ and now on their latest released double cd titled 'Just What I Need' as well as many others, this has earned Stefan nominations for 'BEST COMPOSER' & 'BEST BANJO PLAYER' (2010, 2011, 2012) and Stefan was awarded  BEST COMPOSER in 2010.   Additionally plays the guitar and harmonica. Stefan resides in Mount Hope, On. with his wife Diana.

JOE ROHRER (Bass, Harmony) Joe has been around bluegrass for years, and has spent all his free time playin' bluegrass, huntin' fishin' and trappin'.(typical red neck )Joe sums himself up with this "between ol' wusername and myself, we have three kids,and six grandkids two step grandkids,and one great grandkid. born in port rowan, (still workin' on spendin' my whole life here) P.S. Probably most popular for his daily quotes on Facebook. ** Parental discretion advised.

INTRODUCING~Bill Maracle (Mandolin, Fiddle)
After years of straying into other forms of music, Bill is back where he belongs. Bluegrass and bluegrass gospel music have always been his focus.   Bill Maracle has many years experience and can play many acoustic instruments including the mandolin and fiddle, he also plays the saxaphone (still trying to figure out how to work that into the group)  Bill resides on Six Nations of the Grand River Territory with his wife Carla, one daughter and one dog.  He is a devoted papa and loves to spend time with his grandbabies. Bill Maracle is a great fit to R'n'R and we look forward to having him on stage with us.

~now retired but will be MAKING GUEST APPEARANCES ON OCCASION~

A few lines to express my thanks to some of the best musicians with
whom I have ever shared the stage. Thanks to Stef, Doug, Joe and also
Randy, Gary, and Pete. I believe we did it about as well as it can be
done, and I would have liked it to go on forever,
but the road takes its toll and priorities change.
I will miss the music, but not nearly as much as I will miss all the wonderful
people I met along the way. Of course this is not the end of playing music;
only a change of direction. I wish all the best for the band. Bill Koop

Bill Koop
(Lead, Harmony Vocals, Mandolin, Guitar) is a true veteran of  Bluegrass and Gospel Music,  Bill has a meticulous knowledge of harmony and he has been entertaining for 65+ years, toured with 'The Torchmen' and even was nominated for a Grammy! His cross picking wows crowds and it truly shows he loves to be on stage which earned Bill a nod for 'ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR IN 2011'. Bill lives in Wellandport, On. with his wife Ellie.
