Testimonials

2/15/2012 5:19:03 PM - 003010834106
Dear Ada, Smranda and Rhythmic Dreams,

On behalf of Dance World Academy, I would like to thank you very much for hosting today's event. Each of us, from director to coach to competitor, enjoyed our first USAIGC competition. We appreciate the care taken with helping each participant feel special, the overall relaxed welcoming atmosphere, and the wonderful facility. We look forward to seeing you at a future event.

Wishing Rhythmic Dreams a wonderful Spring season!

Thank you so much for everything. My daughter is so happy at RD. She loves
gym. She loves you as well as you are wonderful!
1/24/2011 6:25:35 AM - 002027337120
Thank you so much for encouraging my daughter to participate in the competition and Gala on Sat. Although she had to miss her music school because of the schedule conflict, I can tell that she had a wonderful time.
9/30/2009 2:37:38 AM - 002027337120
I heard nothing but positive remarks from all of my parents. We really appreciate how you kept things moving, but still gave the newest gymnasts a positive awards ceremony. In watching you organize your "helpers" and hand out ribbons/medals/trophies/gift bags one of my parents turned to me and said that "she gets kids" and he was absolutely right. You, and in turn your program's understanding of the kids is what makes this such a great experience for everyone who attends. My girls always leave feeling proud to be part of the rhythmic gymnastics community.

Just wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you! I really enjoyed your competition and the people you have working with you. I am so excited about the Boston Cup, I had never been before and I just think you do a marvelous job with your event. Everyone feels special and you are so kind to everyone, parents, athletes, coaches and judges. I hope I can be a part of the event next year too. You are amazing. Thank you again.

Again, it was a very nice meet, a lovely ceremony with all the athletes and flags -- a nice touch. I would be obliged to help in the future. This is a beautiful sport for young ladies.

Dear Juel,

We were home today and our daughter showed us some new things she learned during September. It is amazing, just one month and such huge progress.

Thanks a lot, we just wanted to let you know how impressed we are!!

I have met Jasmine (she works with my daughter’s class on Weds.) and have been super impressed with her. She has a terrific touch with the kids – helping them stay focused but have fun, too. My daughter loves her!

Lora, Thank you very much for the email, and expressing your thoughts. We are very glad that you like working with our girls, and we love what you do with them. And also appreciate the fact that you are making a personal connection with them. And yes, they looked amazing yesterday, and very relaxed and confident in their abilities. What else would any mother want! You are the best coach! Thank you for the past year, and looking forward to a wonderful camp experience in a about a week.

Lora, thank you so much for the photos, but also for everything you have been to my daughter this year, and now at camp this week. She adores you, and you have taught her so much. It means the world to me that you are willing to be so involved in her life. I hope somehow you can know how much I appreciate your role in her life, and therefore in mine. Thanks a million. And I'll treasure the photos, especially this week while my daughter is away at camp.

I just want to thank you for the wonderful show. The dances were all great, our guests were happy. As for me - my favorite one was the thunderstorm dance. It was amazing! And my daughter still sleeps with her medal :)

First and foremost, thank you so much for taking the time to write to me in such detail. I don't know how you find the time to pay such attention to all of your students, but I'm thrilled to have my daughter on the receiving end of it.

Level 2 mom
9/30/2009 2:03:37 AM - 002027337120
Your school is certainly different from other places my 8 year old daughter tried when she was younger. I only wish that I knew your school earlier!

My daughter has so many good words about Ionela. She thinks Ionela's teaching is very efficient because she demonstrates the skills and also points out the key of the tricks.

Hello Smaranda! Thanksgiving party is a good idea, would be much easier to come. I loved the place, it is really awesome. I wished we had chance to dance, next time we won't wait until we eat and get heavy, we'll start dancing right away.
My daughter was so surprised and proud and excited about the awards we got :) Thank you very much for your recognition, and the gifts are absolutely unexpected! You are amazing in your dedication to the school, I keep saying that your enthusiasm inspires and motivates many people.

And the videos were great, especially I liked the one about Boston Cup.

Thank you and all the staffs for organizing such a nice, exciting and heart-warming party! It made us forget all the snow, ice, muddy roads and the coldness outside. What a night! My daughter just couldn't wait to tell her friends all about it! :-)

I felt very comfortable at the party. I met some old friends and someone I didn't know before. We all did have a good time!

The food was so yummy!

THANKS!
9/2/2008 7:06:44 AM - 002027337120
What can I say. We had a terrific time yesterday evening and your "Cinderella" was fabulous, magnificent, brilliant and many more words to continue this list of praises.  I would like from the bottom of my heart to congratulate you with such astonishing success! Thank you for your passion to gymnastics; thank you for your love to our children; thank you for your talent, endless energy and enthusiasm, and of course for your hard work to make it happen. Also I would like to thank all members of your great team for all joy which we had yesterday watching The Show.
(Enthusiastic grandmother and volunteer, June 2008)

9/2/2008 7:04:04 AM - 002027337120
I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for bringing this
wonderful sports to us and our kids. It was a magical night, everyone I talked afterwards from Andover group enjoyed the show.  Kids were thrilled, they had absolutely a wonderful time!!!  My husband and my son kept talking about the show after they came home and even the day after.
Congratulations to you and the team!!!
(Andover mom, June 2008)

9/2/2008 7:01:59 AM - 002027337120
Yes, the show was unbelievable...a lot of work and your attention to detail is truly inspiring. As you say, it was AMAZING to see people come together - SO MANY hands pitched in to make the show come off as it did. But NONE of it would have happened if you hadn't held the dream, the vision, and kept putting energy and direction into it.

I THANK YOU for all you do for our community, and my  daughter...and all the other individuals.
CONGRATULATIONS for showing us what's possible!
Can't wait to celebrate together tonight....!

(Newton Mom, June 2008)

9/2/2008 6:59:54 AM - 002027337120
Congratulations for putting the "Cinderella" show on stage! You have made history, it is spectacular and wonderful, it can compete with any professional Broadway show!
I have invited my boss's family and my daughter's teachers to the show. They all have enjoyed so much! My boss kept telling everyone the next day how cute the little ones and impressive and professional the older girls were!
Congratulation for your successful year!
(Mom of team girl, June 2008)

9/2/2008 6:56:23 AM - 002027337120

Cinderella was truly an astonishing evening. Even though I spent most time back stage with other busy moms; I was amazed how many efforts every kid, coach, parent and grandparent had put into this spectacular show. Smaranda, I'm always impressed by your endless energy and passion. That night back stage I saw everybody was full of Smaranda passion.

I had a hard time falling asleep that night. The music, costumes, dances, poses were hanging around my head. I couldn't put it in words to describe my feeling until the next morning when I saw the black T-shirt I was wearing during the show: "Rhythmic Dreams do come true". Thank you very much for bringing this wonderful art to our children and to our life. Thank you for leading us dreaming with you and making the dreams come true.

Congratulations!!!

(Andover mom of 6 year old, June 2008)

9/2/2008 6:53:15 AM - 002027337120
Our daughter had a wonderful time in Rhythmic Dreams in the past one and half years.  I believe she will carry on and benefit from her experience with you all her life.  Truly, Rhythmic Dreams is not only a gymnastics school, but also like a big family.

The Cinderella show was a great success - I enjoyed the show and also got an idea where our daughter should be heading to.

Thank you so much! Best wishes for Rhythmic Dreams!

Everything went very well. Thanks very much for all your hard work to make it such a success. My daughter looks forward to the camp on June 30.

9/2/2008 6:49:45 AM - 002027337120
I know you've been super busy with Cinderella.  I heard really great things about it.  We wanted to thank you for letting our daughter into your program last year.  She really got a lot out of the ballet and flexibility class which helped her in this year's routines.  Maybe in the future we could try again if you are still offering the Saturday a.m. class.  I will continue to refer any gymnasts to Rhythmic Dreams that could use your help.
(Mom of state champion artistic gymnast, June 2008)

9/2/2008 6:46:29 AM - 002027337120
I think I told you already, but here it goes again: from what I hear, the Cape Cod camp was just awesome. My daughter was really happy there. I am sure we will do it again next year, very probably for two weeks, so you can definitely count on us!

9/2/2008 6:43:12 AM - 002027337120
I have to say that the quality of the DVD was excellent! Thank you again for organizing this show and giving the opportunity to children to perform on stage. :) It was the best children show I have ever seen :)
(Newton Mom of 4 year old gymnast, July 2008)
9/2/2008 6:40:52 AM - 002027337120
Dear Rhythmic Dreams, our daughter arrived home safely.  She was all excited again this year when she came home.  She really enjoyed her experience again.  Please thank your staff for making this a wonderful experience.  Thank you so much for the DVD, too!  We already watched it on Saturday morning and I will share it with our club.

Exciting news

Hello, Rhythmic Dreams community!

I have some exciting news to share.

FIRST, and most important!  This past weekend, four of our athletes have
participated in the National Qualifier in Indianapolis: Amanda Dai, Elaine
Dai, Yulia Aleksandrova and Elektra Markogiannakis.  Congratulations to
Amanda, Elaine and Yulia for completing one more exciting competitive
season!  These girls have been training with us for SEVEN years and it's
exciting to witness their progress, watch them grow and master new skills
every year!  We hope they will continue to train, compete and make us proud!
However, the surprise this past weekend came from Elektra... after her first
competition in the US, a 12th place in rope, 5th place in ball and 11th all
around, Elektra has qualified to the National Championships and officially
became a Level 10 athlete in the US!!  Elektra has recently moved to Boston
from Greece, has joined our team a month ago and has been training hard to
prepare for these last competitions of the year!  We are proud to be the
home of our FOURTH Level 10 athlete (Rhythmic Dreams is the ONLY team in
Massachusetts to produce Level 10 athletes - thanks to our exceptional
coaching staff and wonderful facilities!).  Elektra follows Erin Rosen,
Level 10 Senior in 2003 and Ada Moisescu and Marina Bekker, Level 10 Juniors in 2006.  We wish her BEST OF LUCK at the national championships in August!!!

SECOND exciting news...  Today I met with the owner of the newest Rhythmic
Gymnastics program in the area.  Nik (of Nik's Olympic School) has opened a
new program for Rhythmic Gymnastics in Newton
(http://www.nicksolympicschool.com/rhythm.html).  The plan is for them to
rent the facility where we usually host our summer camp program (Lower Falls
Community Center).  We wish Nik best of luck in his new endeavor and we know his program
will contribute to the growth and strengthening of our sport in this area!

This being said, I hope you will continue your involvement in our
community - either by continuing with taking classes, or by keeping in touch
some other way - attending our shows and events, volunteering and helping
out, etc.  There are many good things about Rhythmic Dreams - we do have a
quality program, we produce champions, we have a stellar staff, we organize
awesome events...  however, I think the BEST thing about us is our
COMMUNITY - the atmosphere of trust, open communication, JOY and FUN we have
created around our gym.  I hope you will continue to be part of this for the
rest of your lives :)

Thanks to all for all your past, present and future contributions!  YOU make
our program what it is today and we are forever grateful for your trust,
energy and commitment! :)

If you do have any questions or concerns about any of this, please do not
hesitate to call.  Thank you!

NEWTON TAB - Rachel Vasilyeva profile article

Last Wednesday the Newton Tab has published a GREAT article about one of our top athletes, Rachel Vasilyeva, Level 9.  Two really nice pictures, one on the front page of the paper, and one of the front page of the Newton Life section, and a very positive outlook on the sport and Rachel's experience with it.  Here is a link to the on-line article, but if you have a chance to see the printed copy, please do - it looks a lot better in print! :)

www.wickedlocalnewton.com  - if you don't see the link from the main page, you can search for Rhythmic Dreams or Rachel Vasilyeva and hopefully you can find the article.  Click on the photo links, there are three pictures on line, two were printed in the paper.  JingQi and Elektra also apear in the background of one of the photos :)

In the same issue of the TAB there is a picture of our alumni, Elana Lewis, in the "Notables" section, talking about her successful career as a dancer in college.  There is life after Rhythmic!! :)

Future Stars

Dear Friends,

Our amazing year continues to pour in great results from the latest
competitions and tests.  I don't have time for a big detailed report of all
of our results from the Junior Olympics, but some great news just came in so
I'd like to share this.

Latest news, hot off the press is that three of the girls who tested from
our team have made the Future Stars Team this year.  As part of the Future
Stars team they will be invited to a training camp at the Olympic Center in
Lake Placid at the end of the summer, a great experience and an opportunity
to meet other top athletes and coaches from around the country!

CONGRATULATIONS to Anya Zhang, Amanda Kuo and Kristen Shaldybin!!  Also,
congratulations to our Head coach, Ionela Majeri, who has worked so hard
with these girls this year and has produced all these wonderful results!

Great job, girls, we are really proud of you!!

Cinderella DVDs and Allegria show

Dear Friends,

I hope you are having a great summer!

CINDERELLA:
If you missed ordering your Cinderella DVD at the show, please just bring a
$15 check to the camp or mail it to Rhythmic Dreams at PO Box 24 Newton MA
02464.  I have a few more available for purchase. If you already ordered
yours, you should get your copy in the next week or so - the DVD is almost
ready and your kids will treasure it, the show was really GREAT!

ALLEGRIA:
If you've seen any Cirque du Soleil shows, you know already they are
inspiring and amazing!  Some of the girls saw and LOVED the show Allegria
today at camp on DVD (I own it and saw it many many times!)  At the current
time Allegria is touring the US and they have shows this weekend in
Providence.  They are coming to Boston in August.  I am taking our
international visitors TODAY (FRIDAY, July 3rd) at 3:30 to Providence.
Sorry I could not give more advance notice, it was a last minute decision
due to another day of bad weather...  My car is full, but if anyone else
wants to join us and you can drive, it would be FUN!  The tickets are
between $25 and $80 - check out www.cirquedusoleil.com

The show is coming to Boston in August and we are planning to go with a
bigger group on Saturday August 29 at 4pm.  The show is at the Agganis Arena
at BU.  I bought already 20 tickets and I'm happy to assign them on a
first-come first-served basis and buy more if needed.

I hope many of you will get a chance to see this great show, there is
Rhythmic Gymnastics in it, as always! :)

Have a great 4th of July weekend!

Introducing Jasmine Friedman

Dear Rhythmic Dreams Community

Many of you had the pleasure of running into Jasmine in the gym or at Boston Cup, or maybe getting an email from her in the past two months.  You just can't miss the wild curly hair and warm smile!  I finally have a chance to properly introduce her to you, and to outline the role she will be playing in the future within our organization.  I have to say I feel really fortunate to have found her, she is a treasure to our community and has already proven herself to be priceless in organizing and planning our events and operations.

In the short time Jasmine has spent with us, she has already become my "right hand" in administering Rhythmic Dreams!  It's a great time to get this help, as our operations are becoming increasingly complex.  Jasmine's commitement to QUALITY and INTEGRITY have already helped raise the bar for our program and I know she has a lot more to contribute, helping us improve the programs we deliver.

Please take the time to introduce yourself to Jasmine and welcome her to our community, she is teaching in the gym on Wednesday and I am sure you will see her at all of our future events, around the gym or around my office.   Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Cinderella - Final stretch!

Dear Friends!

Here once again we are in the final stretch for preparing for our Cinderella
show.  Lora Papazian will be the main coordinator and planner for the event
(coordinate music, costumes and choreography), and Jasmine Friedman will
also help with some of the logistics and PR for this event.

The show will be on FRIDAY, JUNE 19 at 7pm at the REGIS COLLEGE THEATER.  We
will have a tech rehearsal on Thursday afternoon (JUNE 18), your kids need
to be at the theater that afternoon.

There are many pieces that go into this and some of them need to be taken
care of NOW.  This is a very complex event, with close to 150 kids involved,
many changes of costumes and lighting.  You will be impressed, our kids and
coaches do a terrific job!  But, we need everyone's collaboration to make
this a success!

Parents:
- please let us know if you can help during the event
  - we need one or two "stage moms" for each group
  - we will need some specialized theater jobs (lighting, sound, stage
manager, etc).
  - we need help with driving kids on Thursday and Friday and also
chaperoning during the tech rehearsal Thursday.
If you have any experience with theater production, we would appreciate your
help!

There will be a PHOTO DAY some time in June - we will announce it once we
have all the costumes ready.

I hope everyone is very excited about our new production and PLEASE SPREAD
THE WORD!

Let me know if you have any questions

Regional Professional Meeting and I just HAVE to share with all of you the
thrilling news!

ALL of our girls who competed today qualified to the National Junior
Olympics - either as members of our regional team, or as "All Stars".
Considering the large number of athletes this year and the quality of all of
the team, this is a really great accomplishment we are very proud of!

CONGRATULATIONS TO:
- Vivian, Laurie, Nadia and Julia in Level 4
- Stephanie and Margaret in Level 5
- JingQi Yang in Level 6
who made us all very very proud today!  These girls will compete in the
Junior Olympics in Virginia Beach in June.

Also, ased on their results at the State Championship, all of our groups have qualified to the National Junior Olympics in Virginia Beach (beginners) and Chicago (intermediates), so I'd
like to extend my CONGRATULATIONS to our group girls as well, Beginners Butterflies, Dragonflies, Fireflies and Intermediate Group, you make us PROUD!  And, a special invitation to register and participate in the Junior Olympics.  (more information will go to those kids in a separate email).

It was sooo nice to sit today in the stands and enjoy the kids' entertaining
routines, beautiful costumes, quality work - it was all quite perfect!  They
went out there confident they were well prepared and ready to show clean,
confident routines.  The only think that was missing was the cheering squad!
Really...  I felt very lonely in the stand and I hope tomorrow it will be
different.

For all of you out there who could not come today, I invite you to join me
tomorrow to cheer for our Level 8 and Level 9 girls!  The show will be
entertaining, and you will feel incredibly proud of your team, our girls
really stand out from the crowd!

this year joining us from 7 countries and 7 US states - and, every single
one of you was great, easy to deal with, friendly and positive!  THis made
Boston Cup 2009 the best large event I've organized so far!

Boston Cup 09 - Two more days!

Dear Rhythmic Dreams Parents, Coaches, Athletes!

Two more days until the start of our big event!!  Very exciting.  I hope you
are ALL planning to come attend one day or the other (or both!!) - it's
going to be very impressive!  Event finals are on Sunday 4-7 and my personal
goal is to have 1000 people in the audience!  I know we did not promote the
event enough to achieve this goal, but if everyone of you brings 2 friends,
we are all set! :)

Schedule, address, more:  www.bostoncup.com

We've had the Russians and Ecuador girls train with us for the past two
days... What a treat!  So nice to see new skills, and have fun with the new
kids!  UK came in yesterday with 12 girls!!  Two more Bulgarian teams
arrived safely today.  Tomorrow we pick up 20 Puerto Ricans from the
airport!  WE NEED ONE MORE CAR at the airport at 6:30 - if you can help,
please let me know - it would be much appreciated!

Sunday MARCH IN for ALL ATHLETES is scheduled for 3:30pm.  PLEASE BE THERE
even if you are not competing on Sunday.  It will be a GRAND event!  We will
have at least one newspaper, one radio station and one TV station presents
at that time.  Plus Newton Mayor!  So, it will be exciting and we want to
have as many kids as possible!

Event Finals and Gala start at 4pm!

ALL VOLUNTEERS - should wear black pants/tights and pick up a red official
t-shirt from the gym tomorrow or Friday.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  If you don't have
black pants and the official t-shirt, you can NOT be in the warm up area or
in the judges/music area.  Also, you need to be on the schedule with a
specific job and time - pleast tell your kids - if they want to help, they
need to talk to me ASAP.  Otherwise, they have to sit in the stands.

I hope to see all of you there this weekend - please come, and please
forward this invitation to your friends!

Good luck to all competing!

NEW - Concord program

Hello, Rhythmic Dreams Friends!

Following a very successful first year in Concord, Rhythmic Dreams is ready to expand its program to incorporate more preschool classes, recreational classes, pre team, competitive group and Level 3-4-5 team.  It's an ambitious program, but with your support, I am sure we can bring it to life!  Please read the updates and current plans detailed below

TRAINING SITE

We are planning to host the classes at the Concord Armory, 91 Everet St, Concord, MA.  We will buy two brand new Olympic carpets from Germany to offer our team the best conditions to train.

SCHEDULE

The gym will be open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for 3 hours each.  As the program grows, we could add other days.  We will be offering the following classes:

INSTRUCTORS TEAM

Executive Director:  Smaranda Moisescu.  Smaranda has founded the Rhythmic Dreams programs in Newton in 2002, today the largest in New England (close to 200 students) and one of the most successful in the country.  Rhythmic Dreams employs today over 20 full and part time instructors, most of them trained "in house".  Rhythmic Dreams produces every year champions at state, regional and national levels and is hosting several successful events, among which the international Boston Cup, bringing over 200 athletes from all continents to Boston every year.  Smaranda has been teaching recreational and preschool classes for the past seven years in Newton, Concord, Andover and Marblehead.

Level 4 coach:  Lora Papazian.
Lora has been part of the Rhythmic Dreams team since it's opening in 2002.  She has started by coaching preschool and recreational classes, increasing her responssibility every year!  She has helped coordinate and run numerous events and programs for the Newton program and has coached full time every summer at our international summer camp.  This past year Lora has coached the Level 3 competitive team and assisted with the Level 4.  Her students have returned from every competition they attended with many gold medals!  Lora has received the "Coach Extraordinnaire" award at the Rhythmic Dreams 2008 Winter Gala.  She will graduate from Boston University in May 2009.  Along with her Concord responsibilities, Lora will continue to teach the Level 3-4 team in Newton.

Level 3 coach:  Juel Sheridan.  Juel is currently a senior student at University of New Hampshire and lives in New Hampshire.  Juel has joined Rhythmic Dreams in 2007, driving from New Hampshire twice per week to attend classes and assit coaching in Newton, MA.  Despite the challenges of a long ride and the bad weather, Juel is always on time and never misses her classes!  She has taken on more responssibility leading our Andover satelite program and coaching at the summer camp.  Following her graduation from UNH, Juel will join Rhythmic Dreams on a full time position, sharing her time between the Concord and Newton programs.  She will be responssible for coaching the Level 3 team both in Concord and Newton as well as providing administrative and accounting help for Rhythmic Dreams.

Looking forward to hearing your feedback on this!

MA State 2009 Recap

Dear Friends,

yes, it wouldn't be Rhythmic Dreams if Smaranda wouldn't send another
excited email at 1AM!...  But I just can't help it not to share with
everyone the thrill of the day...  because it was possibly one of the most
exciting days in Rhythmic Dreams' history!  And, what's beautiful is that
EVERY one of you has contributed, in big and small ways, to the success of
this day, or just simply to help us get here.

I feel so blessed to see this dream come alive... because today I saw our
TEAM the way I dreamed it wayyyy long ago.  And, I am not even talking about
the girls' performances.  These girls have been at the top of their game for
a LONG time.  They've been great, amazing, extraordinaire!  I'm talking
about the BIGGER TEAM.  The team of coaches, volunteers, friends and
PARENTS!  It was I think for the first time when I felt everyone's support,
and not even just people from our own club, but the rhythmic community in
general.  I felt surrounded by friendly faces, helpful hands and big smiles!

There is a LOOOOONG list of names and people to acknowledge and I know you
are probably reading this email curious to see if I remembered YOUR
contribution.  And, believe me, I know you were there, I know you enjoyed
the experience, I know you did everything you could to contribute, everyone
in their own way.  And, I won't possibly be able to name everyone who
contributed... but some names I have to put up here because they have been
outstanding!

First of all, there is a small group of people who have been up at 6AM today
and back home at 11PM...  These people were the backbone of the competition
and I cannot thank them enough for their passion, dedication, LOVE...  Here
they are:  Ionela, Rachel, Victoria and Boris.  Sometimes I wonder what kind
of fuel drives people like you!  Incredible contribution, not just the
work, but the love behind the work they did!

Then... there are the people who stayed up to the end, although they had
really no reason to be there... except the fact that they knew there was a
need, and they were sooo generous with their time and effort.  Here is the
"night shift", and I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart - it was the
smoothest breakdown in the history of our club:  Michelle, George, Elaine
and Amanda; Brad and Amanda; Alex and Rachel; Victoria, Xiaolin and of
course, Ionela!

Then...  there are all the parents who coordinated, prepared and served the
wonderful food for the judges, coaches and our team.  In fact, this turned
out into a big potluck party and I think we should continue the tradition at
other competitions.  It was great to have a place for the moms to congregate
to chat... for the kids to refresh and refuel... and it was great to have
the variety of food and the quality of home made stuff for the judges and
coaches.  Everyone was very impressed with the way our team pulled together
and contributed to the food table!  I will not name anyone because it's
impossible to mention them all!  Parents, thank you for your generosity and
hard work!

Then... there are the parents of recreational kids who volunteered to work
various positions... just because they are SO GENEROUS and not for any other
reason.  Here we want to thank Florin Brasoveanu, Anna Perry, Xiaolin Xie
and Xiaomin Ni.  Thanks so much for offering your time so generously!  And,
those parents of recreational kids who brought their daughters to watch the
meet deserve special thanks!  I Love seeing the little ones out there in the
audience, wondering when they can be as beautiful, strong and skilled like
those performing.

There are many other categories of people who helped (those who helped at
the admissions desk with the thankless task of collecting money...  THANK
YOU!  or those who helped prepare the goodie bags, the kids LOVED THEM!),
but I will stop here because I want to talk a little about the kids, too!

Soooo...  The Rhythmic Dreams team IMPRESSED today at all levels.  To me, it
all came together and it was clear when I saw our team at the official
Opening Ceremony!  More than half the kids there were our kids.  AND, what's
more important, we were "top heavy" - with 4 out of the 5 Level 9 girls in
the state!  but even more important, we were so heavy at the "bottom" - with
the largest Level 3 and 4 teams, PLUS FOUR beautiful groups who were just
AMAZING!  I have to say... the groups part of the competition was my
favorite... and I really hope to see this grow in the future!

The Level 9 session combined with the little girls groups was an incredible
moment for me - I've been dreaming about this, and I'm happy to see it a
reality! :)

THANK YOU COACHES for all your hard work and dedication.  It's impossible to
quantify the amount of work you put into training these kids.  I know you go
home and you think about these girls' routines and find ways to improve them
tomorrow!  I am happy, lucky and honored to have you as my partners!  Thanks
from the bottom of my heart to Ionela, Lora, Ada and Ralitsa!

And for the results...  who really cares?  Our kids were SO IMPRESSIVE...
poised, beautiful, SMART (I've noticed some split second decisions which
really impressed me!).  They made a big impression on the audience, many
people from other teams came to me to compliment me on our team.  It's rare
to see such homogeneous level of quality, and it's all due to the hard work
of these girls, their coaches, and the support of you, the parents!!

Keep up the good work and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all you did
today and throughout the year, leading to this point!

I love you all!

Summer Camp 2009

It is time again to plan for a fabulous summer!  Our 7th annual summer camp offers 7 weeks of fun, learning and growth.  Rhythmic Dreams offers a very structured summer camp, an intense program designed specifically for gymnasts and dancers who want to improve their flexibility, strength and coordination.  We offer two long Rhythmic Gymnastics workouts every day for the older kids, and many fund activities for the younger ones.  We work hard, play hard and maintain a very positive atmosphere throughout.  At the end of each two-week session, our kids put on a show to display their newly learned skills and routines.  Each two-week session has a theme which offers us opportunities to learn and create fun activities during the lunch breaks.

Please take a moment to view the videos we created last summer during out camp.  You can find them in the Videos section of this web site.  You can also find here many pictures from our previous seasons.

Boys group:  While our camp is very popular with girls, each summer we do have a separate group for younger boys which offers a somewhat different schedule, including more outdoor sports like soccer, basketball, tennis.  We also include martial arts training in the boys' regular daily schedule.

The facility offers two newly renovated tennis courts, a basketball court, a large grass soccer field and a fully equipped Playground and picnic area.
