OMSI Summer Camps
OMSI Summer Camps are unique hands-on learning opportunities that will encourage your whole family to stretch the limits of imagination, adventure and possibility. In Fossil, Oregon (only 2.5 hours from Richland), OMSI’s Hancock Field Station is situated within the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. Come join us as we stroll through desert canyons at sunrise and view crystal-clear nights through a telescope. OMSI offers individual overnight camp programs at Hancock Field Station for 2nd-12th graders and Family Camps for all ages. We offer programs like Hancock Explorers for 2nd-3rd graders, Fossils & Geology for 4th-5th graders, Wilderness Survival for 6th-8th graders, Leadership in Training for 9th-12th graders, and much more! | The Richland City Council is accepting applications from youth citizens interested in serving on the Arts Commission. The term for Position No. 10 expires on August 31, 2011. The appointee term will be for one year or until August 31, 2012. Youth member must be between the ages of 16 and 19, attending school in the Richland School District and have an interest in visual, literary, design or performing arts. Welcome to the RHS PTSA Website. The RHS PTSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of all children. Meetings are usually held on the second Monday of the month, 7PM in the RHS Library.
Duties: The Nominating Committee shall submit to the membership a written and signed report at least fifteen (15) days prior to the election of the name of one (1) or more candidates for each office to be filled. Additional nominations may be made from the floor with the consent of the nominee.
The nominating committee shall be elected at a general membership meeting of the council at least thirty (30) days proceeding the election of officers and shall consist of at least (3) members and two (2) alternates.
