I recently added a page with the two photobooks I put together with our roadtrip images! Enjoy!!!

Yes....we've seen a lot, we had a great time but we just can't wait to get home! We are on the road since yesterday afternoon and should be arriving around 11pm.

I will be posting a few more journal entries and pictures, so don't quit on us yet! Hold on! lol We have a lot to say about the trip and plans but we are just too tired...... love you all!

Texas has been fun, great family time! We stayed at Nick's Uncle Bill and Aunt Hellen's house and met with his cousin Danielle, husband and baby - what a great baby, God bless her. I just love Anna!

We will be leaving tomorrow on the last leg of our trip: from Texas to Florida!

We are on the road heading to Houston, Texas. We left Gilbert yesterday morning, it's been 25hrs and we still have 370miles to go! I will post details on the journal when I have a chance!

We had a great time with Aunt Georgia and Uncle Pete! Thank you so so very much for everything.

WOW! Flagstaff, Walnut Canyon, THE Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona (and it's magnificent Red Rocks), and lots of history lessons at the Cliff Dwellings, Montezuma Well and Castle and the V-V petroglyphs filled our weekend! My camera didn't handle that many shots and unfortunately gave up...snifs. RIP my good buddy.

Yes! Lots of things to tell about our Arizona Canyons tour and my camera's sad goodbye. I will be posting it all soon.

We are in Gilbert, Arizona at Nick's Uncle Pete and Aunt Georgia's house.

Tomorrow we will be leaving to the Grand Canyon (finally!!!woo hoo) and Sedona. We will leave the trailer here and be back to Gilbert Saturday night. Yay!

I can't believe we are actually about to start our route back to Florida! WOW! What a journey!

I will update the journal later tonight! We got back from Yosemite Natl Park yesterday after an spectacular time! Right now we are packing our stuff and getting ready to hit the road tomorrow! We should be leaving early, heading to Gilbert, Arizona to visit Nick's uncle Pete and aunt Georgia.

Yeah, next week we will be hitting the road again! Time to leave California and start heading back home through Arizona and Texas!

I just updated the journal and uploaded a few more pics to the Ventura album so I brought the Ventura album back to the top of the list.

We are very excited for our next weekend's trip: Yosemite! Wooo Hooo

We are now in Park City, UT - about an hour away from Salt Lake City, in the mountains. My friend Laura was nice enough to let us use her family house here and we are having a vacation from our vacation! Thank you so much Laura! I'll be posting more details later!

We left Yellowstone and we are in Salt Lake City, Utah and it is 60 degrees hotter! We are in a 92F weather now!
The good news is: Internet works!! I'm uploading pictures and will probably have this site up-to-date this week! WOOO HOOO!!

I've been noticing that something happens when I post my journal entries. Whenever I review my texts there are some words missing, usually names. I just saw the names of the parks like "Mt. Rushmore, Badlands and Yellowstone" did not show up on my last post. I really don't know what's going on. I'm really sorry! I will email Shutterfly and let them know.. it may be a bug on their system. Sorry!

I just checked the temperature here... it's 10:40pm and it's 32 degrees out and it should reach 26 degrees! It was snowing for a short moment this afternoon. Very thin and very little...but... freezing!

I updated the journal up to our last stop but I could not get the pictures to upload. The files are big and our internet connection is in and out...

I'm so late with our pics...

We didn't  have a chance to mention before, we are officially on MOUNTAIN TIME ZONE! Which means, now two hours earlier then the east coast time zone.

Hi there! Thank you for all the comments! We love you guys! Sorry for the delay in posting pictures and news but we still have no internet! We are now in Keystone, South Dakota where we saw Mt Rushmore and will visit the badlands. Our camping is so far from everything that the closest grocery store was 28miles away!!!

We have tons of pics from Chicago (zoo and museum), Colorado and South Dakota to post... it will be a lot of work! lol

Hi everyone!
We are in Indiana having a great time! What started as a tentative of bordering some work for a stay, has turned into a two week stay at the Caboose Lake Campground in Remington, Indiana.

Everyone here is very welcoming and it feels like home! We decided to accept their offer and stay a little longer. We will be here till the 19th if I'm not wrong. I have some news and pictures, that I should be updating as soon as I have a chance.

New friends, new stories, lots of memories. We love it!

Hi everyone!

We parked at an Indiana Walmart parking lot last night, and as soon as we closed our eyes the weather got really bad. It was a very stormy night and a good thing that we parked just on time.

Tropical Storm Edouard winds down south are blocking a cold from from following it's natural path where we are, causing a lot of rain, thunderstorms and wind.

It seems that things calm now, but they say around 4pm it may get bad again. So we will probably leave before that.

We are doing great, watching the weather and the news to follow the safest route. =)

 We are here at Anthony and Jamie's house! Emma is the best baby we have ever met! We're in love! We will be leaving tomorrow to Illinois.

We are on the road right now to Columbus, Ohio after a lot of fun in Cedar Point.

What happened at the Canadian border really crushed me, I really miss my family back home but you guys are my new family and you have no idea how much your support and love means to me. Yesterday we spent the day in Niagara Falls (AMAZING!!!) and we are on the road again! We are on the road in Ohio heading to Cleveland area, then Cedar Point and then South to Dayton where we will visit Nick's cousin Anthony and his family. Ohioooooo!

We are leaving Vermont tomorrow. Unfortunately we will not be able to use our phone in Canada (next destination). Sprint will charge us $0.59 per minute if we use (or check voice mails) - so please please please contact us via EMAIL ONLY! Phone will be used exclusively for emergencies.

Our next known destination from here is Toronto, but it is far, so we will make one or two stops on the way - we will probably be without internet service during these days also.

We are really sorry, but we will try our best to keep you guys updated!

We are in Maine! Safe and having a good time! Our phone and internet connection are not good at all here... so we may be out of touch for a while.. with only quick news.

We saw lots of emails in our inbox but unfortunately we are not being able to answer it all. It may get worse as we head North towards Canada. Please don't worry - we are doing great and we will be updating the website as soon as we get better connection.

  HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Ok! Yesterday night I updated our journal! I started uploading pictures but the connection was too slow for that. I will try again once we reach our next destination! I will also work on the captions once all pictures are up.

We are right now on the way to Luray, VA!

I thought we were back but the internet only worked for about 15mins while I typed that last quick entry.

Dear family and friends we are safe and having lots of fun the only thing is that we are by the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia right now and the internet is still on and off.

We've saving all our news in word so as soon as we get regular internet connection back we will post all at once!

I finally got a chance to look at the pictures from Mt. Rushmore.  It was great to see you all bundled up.  I can't get over the temperature changes you guys have seen! 

On a more serious note... Sophie was really upset to see you giving love to a golden retreiver - lol.  You guys will make a dog very happy - once you're back from Brazil.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi.  Cami, i was sorry to read about your experience in Canda.  My mom was telling me how much you were looking forward to seeing your family there. I'm sorry it didnt work out the way you had hoped. 

 

I am glad that you guys liked Niagara Falls though.  I went to college up in Buffalo, and every year my parents flew up with me to help move me into the dorms.  We always rode the maid of the mist (and got soaked!!).  It was a lot of fun, once you realize you aren't going to drown in the "mist". LOL.  I've been to anchor bar -   Only i didnt eat any wings there, lol, because i am a vegetarian. (i missed out!)  But, all my friends always loved the wings. :)

You guys got some really good shots of Emma - she is so beautiful! I can't wait to meet her.

Hey Nick and Cami,

I felt very sad after reading about your experience trying to get into Canada and the fact that you were not able to see your family. I know what a big disappointment it was for you.

You are right when you say that things happen for a reason, Cami.   God always has a plan and although we may not know or understand them at the time,  there are always reasons why things happen and maybe,  just maybe,  someday we will understand them. 

As for Niagara,  I told you it was beautiful,  didnt I?  It is awesome there.  Maid of the Mist is a blast.  We all loved it.
