Thank you for the comments on my Everyday Family book. My husband loved the book and took his copy to work to show all of his colleagues :-) I have posted a new book of a family skating party that I just finished. I LOVE your photos, the garden shots are amazing. All of your photobooks are beautiful too. So simple and with such a great focus on the images rather than the "effects" - it really helps that your photos are all of such good quality - one is better than the next!

Hi Toni.....I hope your week-end has been great....Thanks so much for the codes... I ordered two photo books and saved almost $80.00 and ordered 1 set of greeting cards and saved $21.00....Thanks so0000 much. The second set of greeting cards code didn't work.. Ms. Janna opened her own site up and I created a card on there to order and it said it was an invalid code...the code for the 2nd photo book worked perfecly, and thank again...You don't know how much it means to me for you to be so kind and generous:) Talk with ya later! Thanks for all the sweet comments on Jeff's page..I went back and looked at the pics that you said looked like Luke, and I about fell in the floor..i hadn't even looked that close or noticed. I've come back to view your site again, and again. Your photos are absolutely gorgeous. You're not only an awesome photographer, but also a fantastic gardener. When I lived in WV I had beautiful flower beds, but since moving to Florida I've yet to have any luck. It's hard to find things to grow in the sand! LOL

I loved Carvel as a girl. They had two stores in the area (about 15 miles away..) but they have closed. So Randy when on line and found out that Walmart carries the cake. Now my Walmart is only....2 mins away...this might not be good for my thighs... I have a great girlfriend that lives here and she is from NJ so I am going to get her a Carvel cake for her birthday..which is coming up!!

Hi Toni...Thanks for checking out Luke's book. I did order it this time:) No more changes..Larry even got in on the action and critiqued it for me, it was for his grandson, after all:) And thanks for all the comments on Lexy's site. She is such a precious little girl. I have started her book and am zipping right along. I am figuring out the digi scrapboking and am doing some really cool things for her book. I have 210 pictues that should arrive on a CD tomorrow and I can't wait to get them in and download them. I am already up to 30 pages in her book:) Janna's college is 80 miles away but it is a really bad, curvy highway. It take about an hour and a half to get there. We bought her a new laptop computer.. I had given her my older version and it was a 2005. Just to old for her:) Anyway, we had a really good time. We ate Chinese and I helped her get everything up to her dorm. You need to find a college that has dorms andt ake Joe on a tour there. Once he sees the atmosphere I am sure that he would love it. Janna lives in a place called towers. They have North, South, East, and West Towers and each tower has 12 floors with about 20-40 students per floor. She is lucky to have gotten a triple suite. They have built the cafeteria and several little places to eat in the middle of the four towers. The atmosphere is so electric. I always get a kick walking through the central part in the evening because of the different types of college kids.. You might see some kids all grundged out dancing to hip hop kids in shirts and ties coming from an event, or kids walking around in pajama's. I did crazy Saturday after Thanksgiving last year in St. Louis last year and drove around 45 minutes at the mall trying to find a place to park (having a nervous breakdown, only positive note that the boys met me at the mall and I helped Jeff pick out an engagement ring for Mary and he gave it to her on Christmas Day:) ..I haven't been on Friday in awhile except to meet my mom at our local smaaaaalllllllll Wal-Mart at 5:00 A.M. and stood out in the freezing cold for 1 hour until they opened the doors, ugh.. I swore last year that I would stay home and decorate for Christmas this year...We normally do this on Friday, Saturday and Sunday...I am going to go all out this year, inside and out, to make magical memories for Little Luke. My grandparents did that for their 10 grandkids and the memories are so special. I want the same for my grandkids:) On Thanksgiving we are all going to my aunts house.. Jason, Mirranda, and Janna will come, but Jeff, like a goofball, accidently signed up for a clinical in the ER for paramedic school not realizing it was Thanksgiving..so Jeff, (
sighing at the moment)! But Larry and I will be having Christmas at my house the day after Christmas and I am up to 20 guest. We do Christmas Eve at my mom's followed by Midnight Mass! My two sisters will be there and Janna and mom's two foster daughters and my nephew Patrick. Mirranda, Jason, and Janna at my Aunt Diane's house in Poplar Bluff on Christmas..and then Larry's sister and all of her family and Jeff, Luke, my youngest sister and her new husband, and hopefully Little Lexy and her parents at my house...I am so excited I can hardly stand it....I am already mentally preparing, ha ha! I guess I am a little OCDk, no actually alot OCD'll. I hope you have a fun time shopping and I wish you guys luck...Don't get lost in the crowd:) I'll talk to you before Thanksgiving. I wanted to thank you sooner but couldn't figure out how to get to your home page! lol
I created mine as an example for future clients,I never dreamed it would be such an ego boost !!!
I shot most of my photos w/ a Kodak ZD710 & Canon PowerShot......I'm a Canon girl @ heart & hoping Santa brings me a new xsi :) As for software I use several different ones Photoshop Elements6,CS2 & picnic to name a few.
It's more of a passion than a hobby(or maybe a rare OCD)...I'm lucky enough to pick up a few shoots now & then & I am considering converting a room in my basement into a small studio also just had some business cards made! Wish me luck!

Wow!! So the weekend didn't go as expected! I wuldn't be so wild about the no dorm thing as well. I think it's good to be around people their age and get to know the lay of the land first. That road sounds scary as all get out!! Ice brings Dallas to a halt!! Wrecks galore, all those people that think they know how to drive on ice! Maybe Joe will find another place he likes better, he's got a little bit of time. I wish Rider would got to college, he frustrates me so much lately. I hope it all works out for Joe and I'll keep him in my thoughts.
Thanks for the heads up on the book being featured, too fun! I had no idea. It's always fun to have a book featured. Did you see the one comment came from a girl that had a party too! I loved her booked, the cookie exchange idea was awesome!! I love that each party had something wonder and unique of it's own. I love that Shutterfly has brought us all together like this!! I had a free 7x9 so that's why I did the Autumn Days book, I was surprised so many people found it so quick :) I make som many books about Kyleigh, I always think people are going to get bored with me :) But I love her so much, I don't see me stopping any time soon.
I leave for Fredericksburg tomorrow, meeting Jean, Jamie and a posse of people. We are going to have so much fun!! I sure wish you could be there!!! Fredericksburg is going to look so wonderful dressed up for Christmas, I'm soooo excited!! Jamie has us all lined up for things to do!! My friend and co-worker Beverly is going with me, she is so excited about being in our group and seeing new things. I hope the fall colors are still good there, the leaves are really falling here, not much to see anymore.
I've been getting my work done before I leave and I can't get to the sites like I want to, I haven't been here since Friday!!! I'm normally by at least once a day!! I promise to do much better.

It uploads a few and then pauses and I have to cancel it. Some is better than none. ANYWAY!! I am going to COZUMEL! Is that not the best. I wish it was time already. Toni, gosh i apologize for not stopping by more often. We have been busy here, taking advantage of the nice fall weather. Tom got our x-mas lights hung; not turning them on yet but now we dont have to stand out in the freezing cold hanging them (as we do each year...LOL). We head to Tom's parents in Massachussettes each year for Thanksgiving so we try to get some things done before we leave. Do you have any winter scenery special such as Lights on the Lake in your area. Thats one of the big things around her, its great for kids and adults alike. It is a fun event to attend. Well browse around alittle more :)

Toni thanks for your recent visit and the kind comments you have made regarding my cruise pictures. It is thoughtful and encouraging to read what my fellow S/F friends have to say. How are things going upstate? I've been meaning to tell you my father in law has family near the Buffalo area. I've never met them and since my father in law has now passed we don't keep in touch with them. I believe they live or lived in Eggerstville. Is that town near you? What a small world.

Hi Toni...It's me again:) Thanks so much for the comments. Your not going to believe this. I have not ordered Luke's book yet. I found some pictues on wal-green. I lost my account password and never bothered to get a new one until about 30 minutes ago. I found some wonderful pictures that I must add to his book. Also, Jeff and Mary had a friend who is a semi-professional photographer take some one year old pics of Luke this past week. I am going to steal some of the pictures to add to the book. Jeff says there are about 200 and they are at a really neat park in St. Louis. I can't wait to get my hands on them. My problem with ordering books is I also go for the 12x12 because I like the way they look.. The 8x8's are also nice. I don't know why but I have to have things equally square. Sounds dumb, I know:) I didn't get in on last weeks special, drats. I didn't even catch it. I was so tied up in doing Lukes album! I ordered Janna's graduation book in the hard cover. I ordered Luke's Baptism book in the soft padded cover and I like that one much better. I want to do some little cute padded books for Luke this next year so that he can handle and look at them. I have seen something like the ABC's of me and so forth. I think that would be too cool.

I was just sickened by the story about your little Mason. I would really like to tell you what I think of his mother, but they would probably ban me from shutterfly:) I am glad your brother got it together enough to go to court and see that you all get to see Mason again. How sad for your family. I know that during this time I didn't hear from you much. I can't imagine how you must have felt. Poor Marina...She is so close to Mason..and I bet even Joe secretly missed him:) I bet you were appalled when she sent all the gifts back. I just hope that little Mason never has to know what his mommy did to his sweet Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. It certainly would not do the little fellow any good. To use a child as a weapon is horrible. I am sure that he knew something wasn't right in the five months he was kept from you, especially since you babysat him 3 days a week. I hope everything continues to work out and I will certainly pray that Mason's mother gain some wisdom and understanding about the true meaning of family. Take care and I'll catch ya later:)

Hi Toni...Caught you and Lisa bumping each other on my site. I was on Jamies site...I have never been bumped until tonight and I was bumped 5 times. Ugh...I always wondered what everyone meant by that. I responded to your comments on Jason's page. He is 24 as of June 28 this past summer. The vacation pics are actually his Senior trip pictures. They went to Cancun Mexico and me and my best friend Jean went along with the group. It was a blast. There were 30 kids and 30 adults.. We had a blast. Jason kind of hid out for the first couple of days of the trip and then we couldn't shake him and his buds! LOL! Of course we had the money:) Jason still looks just the same with the same big smile. It is hard to tell which ar younger pics and todays pics he looks so much the same as he always has. Thanks for all of your comments. I did my digi scrapbooking on scrapblog.com. It is a neat site with tons of freebies...I haven't paid for a thing yet:) I am still gettting the hang of it. Aren't the slide shows that Janna showed me how to make to fun? Hi Toni, I came by to look at the Photobook party pictures!! They're great! I love the pictures of the kiddos and the photobooks and the little ones are adorable. Marina is such a pretty young girl, her eyes are so beautiful.
I thought I would be out and about this weekend but when Kyleigh is here I don't get on the computer as much. So I am doing my site hopping while she's going to sleep. She's not feeling good tonight so she's been a little needy tonight, poor little punkin.
I need to get busy on my photobooks or at least on the one that expires this weekend. I'm thinking of making a photobook party book, thought that would be fun :) Bet all those kiddo and photobook shots would look good in a photobook too, are going to be doing that?
Kyleigh has been sick so we have put off her birthday, cake and presents til this weekend, maybe she will feel better by then. I will be taking pictures, for sure. I have the card yu sent her and she'll be getting her picture taken with that too!! You are so sweet!!!!

Thanks for the comments Toni...you were wanting to know about the family get together? We are up to about 40 people at most celebrations. There are usually a couple of grandkids that either make Thanksgiving or Christmas but not both since they live in KC, MO. My grandparents had four children, 10 grandchildren, 5 older and 5 younger ones. Us five older ones are in our late 40's early 50's and the younger set are in their early to mid 30's! They have 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, Luke:) All the Aunts and Uncles, especially my mom, brings the food. My mom is a retired Home-Ec teacher and a fabulous cook as well as an organizer on these get togethers. We are blessed to have so many good cooks in our family. A few of us "Older" grandkids bring a dish or too. Mainly we are just expected to show up and have a good time and help with the dishes, ugh. No paper products at these get togethers. My Grandmother and Grandpa said no to them many years ago. Only Christmas China and Christmas silverware at these functions. My Aunt Diane has a nice large home on the Golf Course in Poplar Bluff, MO. She was born to entertain. Her house is so dang gorgeous and she used to own a Florist as a "hobby"! I am extremely jealous of her talent. No, just kidding, I admire her talent tremendously. I will have to take tons of pictures at the holidays of her decorations because they are awesome. I thought Jeff's Mary was going to pass out when she walked in at Christmas this past year for the first time. She couldn't believe the talent that Aunt Diane has. It is short of phenomenal. She would probably die if she read this. Well that should answer all the questins on the Foust family get togethers for the Holidays. I hope things go well for your party tomorrow:)

Ms Regan was a gnome and it was too dang cute! K'Lee was supposed to be a 50s girl in a poodle skirt but she had a friend come and her friend did not have a costume so we had two cheer uniforms and three hair pieces and all the make up and bloomers so they were both cheerleaders. It was fun. We had a blast watching them trick or treat. Lots of candy to! WOO HOO! My favorite part is "inspecting" the candy before they get to eat it! LOL!!!

Toni I feel so bad for ya'll not getting to see Mason for Halloween, not even for a few minutes. You had me tearing up just thinking about that, so not fair. We didn't get to have Kyleigh for the Halloween night trick or treating but we did have fun at the Bass Pro Shop Halloween event on Friday and then making the Haunted House Saturday morning. She was so cute :) I uploaded pictures to my computer today and I am hoping to have them uploaded to Shutterfly by tomorrow night, so I can post them. The SF pictures and Halloween :) I was so busy at work today that I didn't get online to the share sites not once! That is so unlike me, but I hope to be able to for lunch tomorrow.

Hi Toni....Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for Little Luke. They are pretty sure he does have the swine flu. He has been one sick little guy:( He was feeling somewhat better today and his fever has stayed down since yesterday afternoon. He has developed a nasty cough. His grandma Rhonda will check him out from head to toe tomorrow:) He got to dress up in his little pumpkin outfit and go to his Gigi and Papa Dan's house and trick or treat there and at a little local neighborhood park. They didn't keep him out but a couple of minutes because I would imagine that he is still contagious. I just worry, worry, worry, about the little guy being so sick and his Grandma not being up there to help take care of him. That is also the RN in me kicking in. In the summer, I volunteer at a Catholic Youth Camp as the camp nurse for about 140 kids for a week. I have done it for about 12 years altogether. I love nursing young children, even though I haven't worked as a Pediatric nurse in about 27 years. It tore my heart out working with sick little ones and I had to move to OB/GYN for awhile and then worked with the elderly for 22 years. I hope that your family had a wonderful Halloween. What did your Joe and Marina do? Did they go out with friends to a party? Did you get to spend anytime with them this evening? I know when they are that age it is tough to get them to spend that family time at the house with the Parents! Did you and Rob do anything special? Do you all get alot of trick or treaters? We don't get any out here in the middle of the country. We have no small children that live down our gravel road. That is the only drawback living in the country! Other than that we love it out here. Did you get to see your little Mason today? How far does the little guy live from you all? I know how much you adore the little guy. I get a kick out of looking at his pictures. It sounds like your party is going to be a blast. I wish I lived closer so that I could come. I know that you will throw a great party. Hi Toni, I was making my rounds this morning but had to stop because we made the gingerbread haunted house before Kyleigh left for the week. It was hilarious, Kyleigh had that icing all over her costume and she was serious about putting stuff on the house. When we finished she had a mini fit because she didn't want to stop. I got pictures, I sure hope I can get them uploaded this coming week. I really do not like feeling like I am so far behind.

Your party will be great and I love that you're following up with everyone. Even if you only have one or two guests it will be fun :) I think I'm going to end up with around 10 to 12, not sure yet. Today I am taking Kyleigh to Boo at th Zoo in Ft. Worth. It's raining but supposed to stop soon. I hope so because I don't get her tomorrow for Halloween. I don't think we are carving pumpkins. Since we have all gotten 'bigger', we don't do it anymore. It was a favorite pasttime and something we always did as kids. I don't think my sister & her husband do that with their kids. I think the 'safer' thing kids do now is draw on them. We had a good time as kids doing it.

Just stopping by and seeing how the weather is treating you in NYState? It was cold here last night....40 degrees... Now dont laugh...I had to kick on the old heater for the first time this season or the kids wouldnt get up for school. (My kids are westcoast...what can I say)... me 46 degrees outside and just a sweat jacket to take them to school... You read correctly - I am no longer going to go to school for photography. I don't have the time to do the things I want and need to do, and I don't want to regret not getting the most out of my life while I have the chance. I miss being home with my mom. Probably an only child thing. :p I'm going to finish next year with an Associates in Commercial Art and go from there.
The way I see it - I can go back to school later, but the life I'm missing out on can't be relived.
No worries - I'm still gonna take pictures! :)

Tonette, Thanks for stopping by my site. Kaylee is the joy in my life! No, she isn't potty trained much to her Mommies dismay. We have tried many things to the extent of the peepee prize bucket! She is smart enough to do it but is just way to busy to bother! It has become a bit frustrating to all of us. My kids were easy to train. She plain and simply doesn't have time. She will be three in March. I told my daughter to just wait another month and we will try hard again. Our trip to the pumpkin patch this year was a chilly one! Kaylee is not always much of a poser for me. I uaully have to sneek my pictures of her. Mostly they are on the run! she keeps us all entertained but, we wouldn't change it at all. I keep praing we will someday get another one as loveable as her! :)

It was my daughter's birthday last Friday and she and my other daughter Victoria went to see Hugh Jackman & Daniel Craig on Broadway. The play is called A Steady Rain and the girls loved it. There must have been a mix up on the cruise they were supposed to bring out a cake but didn't. I should have spoken up. Oh well no big deal.

Hope you are having good weather in your neck of the woods. It seems the sun has returned down here and enjoying temps in the 60's. Big difference from last week.

Hi Toni, Thanks for letting me know about the blog article, that was fun :) Jamie and Bar getting their books featured is so fun and I'm happy for them. We had so much fun in New Mexico and that book lets everyone know that. She did a great job putting it together too!
You cracked me up about the pumpkin and your husbands unibrow!! LOL!! They did pretty good with those pumpkins for now having the little craving knifes, Rider used a big ol kitchen knife. He kept saying dont' worry I can do it Mom! Because I was saying don't mess them up Rider, please don't mess them up :):) I just wanted to make sure I got pictures because I'll be gone this weekend and the next time I'll see Kyleigh is on the 30th and her mom has her on Halloween day. It's a bummer but I took that Friday the 30th off so I could take her to Boo at the Zoo and then trick or treating at the Bass Pro Shop.

Toni, Iordered nine books, but I only have two books that were new, the Pumpkin Patch and Autumn Fun in New Mexico (for the party:) I ordered two books I haven't ordered for myself yet and then I ordered 5 of them for gifts :) I have 3 books I need to finish. I'm not as proliferic with the books as you but I'm starting to get the motivation :)
Love the pumpkins on the FB, your mischief maker is adorable and I'll bet ya'll had a wonderful time!! Can't wait to see the pictures on here.

Are you working on any books in particular right now? Like camping? At the end of this yearI will make another post card book that has only 2009 in it, so far I have 103 postcards in there, that's amazing!!! Then I will order that book and the Postcards from Everywhere book at thesame time. Bet they'll look awesome printed!! Maybe I will have a wonderful set to hand down to Kyleigh :) She may not want them though. I'm sure there wil be a collector out there that will find value in them :)

Hey girl! Whoooo, another hectic week in the life and times of the Walker family! LOL. I bet you two girls had a blast birthday shopping! Brittlee's is coming up Nov. 1st and she has already made me a list of all the things she wants. Of course, she is turning 10, so the party is still a big thing with her. She is wanting me to rent out the indoor pool at the local college so she can have a swimming party. We'll see.... Anyway, nothing too major going on this weekend. Brittlee has a soccer game Sat. morning and Will has a double header on Sunday. He played in a football game last night and got creamed. Will is not used to losing and we are still trying to teach him how to lose with "class". He still gets all upset and crys all the way home... Tonight is fall fest at the elementary school. It is big fundraiser that they do each year around halloween time. Should be a blast. Well, must run for now. I have 2 papers that are due by midnight on Saturday... I guess I better get them going. Oh my gosh Toni....I love the Halloween pictures that you added to my Holiday Happenings page. They are adorable. Mason and Mariana are too dang cute. Is that your son in some of the pictures. I can't tell because of all the make-up:) You and your husband look great in your costumes. I am going to go to Universal Studios Halloween Nights this Sunday. We used to create Haunted Houses back in my younger days for the Jaycee's. All the kids would get involved and be in the Haunted House. We used the money that we raised to take underprivileged kids shopping at Christmas! It was great family time:) The last haunted house I was in was when I was pregnant with Janna. I dressed up like a witch and sat in the front window of the haunted house in a rocking chair. This was Oct. 31 and she was born on November 2nd. Needless to say, I am still fond of looking at all the work and imagination that is put into creating these Haunted Houses. Universal Studios should be a blast. It might be a little scary, but I am going to give it a whirl! Have a great day:)

Hi Toni.... I caught you on my site:) LOL. Thanks for all the sweet comments. The fish that we caught were thrown back. We haven't actually caught, cleaned and ate the fish in about three years. We get a big kick out of catching and releasing them. We probably do need to thin them out a bit but we just don't have the heart. We offered to let them keep the fish and clean them for them but they were like us and wanted to throw them back so someone else could have fun catching them. I'll have to have Janna send you some college pictures or tell her to accept you as a friend on facebook so that you can look at her college pics. They are too funny and cute. She is having a blast at college and making tons of new friends. I am so glad for her. She went over there without any of her best buds and I was afraid it was going to be tough on her. Her two roommates are such dolls and they are becoming best college friends. They never quarrel or anything. They are very respectful of each other and very positive to be around. Janna couldn't have got any luckier. And they are from the area and are introducing Janna to all of their friends from Cape and taking them to their houses to meet their families. She is one lucky girl! Hang in there with your kids being gone all of the time. They are just preparing you and your husband for the empty nest syndrome. The strangest thing happened when we took our boys on vacation with us a couple of years ago. Jeff was 25 and Jason was 22 at the time. We couldn't shake them. It was so funny, because in high school when we would go on vacation, we would hardly ever see them when we went to the beach. We figured that they didn't have to sneak around to do anything at their age and we had all the money so why not hang out with their old parents. It really was fun. I am so glad that you had a wonderful trip with your kids. Trust me, it won't be long and you'll be in our shoes:( Have a great week!

Ooops forgot to answer a couple of your questions. We are taking the whole family to Jamaica over the week of Thanksgiving (even letting the boyfriend and girlfriend join us.) We are all very excited. We have never taken a "blended family vacation" and we all love everything tropical. I am already trying to figure out how to balance my obsession to document every moment and every detail with just hanging with the family and relaxing. My family tends to get quite irritated with me for "too many pictures, Mom." They jut don't have the same appreciation that I do for capturing the memories. Sigh. Maybe one day. Brandon was very patient with me in San Antonio, which was awesome.

I just had to tell you how you inspired me and then how I was thinking of you while in San Antonio. I kept thinking about your beautiful flower, butterfly and bee pictures and how I needed to snap some myself and so I got downright obsessed at the Botanical Gardens about trying to get close ups of bees. Didn't work very well and Brandon was convinced that I wuld get stung chasing around all those little bees and sticking my face down in there. Giggle. I didn't get stung, but didn't get good bug close-ups either (except for the large, non-moving bug art at the Botanical Gardens!
Anyway, I also had to mention how incredible it is that you manage to find time to be all over the place leaving long, thoughtful comments about everything to everyone and still manage to get so much else done. Hot weather was the worst moment of the past week for us here in SOCAL. With a little breeze, today is much nicer.
Black soot caused by fire can be seen deposited on trees around the southland. No chance for the leaves turning yellow or brown. You can also see black scar on the land! Southern California fires naturally occur during summer and fall, but we believe that some of the fires are just arson related. Except for what I just mentioned, we are doing okey-dokey!
I amuse myself for hours on end looking at nice photographs on your site (and few others) each time I visit! The effort you put into this site is truly stunning!

Hi Toni, I'm having a hard time getting into the swing of things. Work is so busy, can't hardly keep up. I haven't been in the Gallery in forever (since Thursday but it feels like forever).
I talked to my sister in law last night, she is going to send me the pictures from Tennessee, they are so amazing. I'll show you when I get them. I'm still thinking I can work it out to drive there in November, got my mind a spinning with ideas :)
Thanks for looking in on the Autumn page, I was having fun putting it together. I hope to have some better Halloween ones after this year (thank to you :). I haven't been very many places for the Autumn colors but when I went to North Carolina that just fueled my desire. Now I have so many places I want to go during that time of year I can hardly keep them straight. I would love to do a driving tour thru Vermont, Maine and beautiful places like that. The colors of Autumn just inspire me sooo much.
I have to say I love candy corn but I don't like marshmellows, not even rice krispie treats. I love gummy worms too, Bass Pro Shop sales a great brand of candy and they have awesome gummy worms :) Hershey chocolate will always be my number one favorite candy, always!! I am not a fan of sugar cookies either. So if we are ever together for Halloween I will eat your candy corn and you can have my gummy worms :)
I have never ridden in a hot air balloon, I prefer looking at them from afar :) I am scared of heights, so frustrating for me but I am. I can't wait to see those balloons this weekend. They is a chance of rain though, Jean has a list of things for us to do if that happens. She is going to keep us busy :) I am so excited. I wish you were going to be there too. I need to go buy some tenny shoes before Saturday, mine are looking sad.

Hi Toni, I haven't had the chance to check out the books you forwarded but I look forward to doing it tomorrow :) My sister in law Becky showed me some pictures from Tennessee last November, I almost passed out I want to go soooo bad. The good news is that those pictures were from November, that means I might be able to go this November because October is so jammed. My mind is spinning with the possibility!!
Thanks so much for all your messages of comfort about the passing of my Aunt, she was a wonderful person. I got home late yesterday and am now at work catching up but wanted to stop and say thanks. You are so good to me :) The funeral went as well as things like that can go. It's always good to see family even itf it's for a sad occassion.

Hi Toni... Lisa forwarded me your Tennessee book a couple of days ago. Spectacular work. I will be driving through Tennessee in a couple of weeks on my way back to Florida with my mom. we are going through Chattanooga and are actually going to stay there on the way back home for a night. I hope that to get some cool fall pictures. Your talent continues to amaze me. I love it that you are so active with all of your family and extended family. That is too cool. My family is really spread out and I don't get to spend near enough time with them. We are going to a hayride at my sister-in-law and brother-in-laws tomorrow. They live about two hours away from us. Jeff, Mary, and Little Luke are going and Luke will be meeting some of his 2nd and 3rd cousins for the first time. Janna is going to meet us half-way and go too. The only one of 6 cousins that are not going to be present is my son Jason and his girlfriend, Mirranda. Oh well, 5 out of 6 isn't bad. I hope to get some good family pictures to share and to add to Little Lukes 1st year album. Take care and have a great week-end:)

With the kids back in school (projects galore), three different sports in full swing, my masters program back in full swing, and the general everyday stuff, there just seems to be a few hours missing from everyday! lol. Glad to hear the trip was a success!! I'm so happy that even Joe let you take pictures!! Can't wait to see them, woohoo!! I've never heard of that area but it sounds really neat. Camping at Lake Texoma was the first time I have camped in forever. I won't 'camp' without a restroom and running water :) Nick and Rider loved to camp and have a camp fire. We went to Arkansas and camped there, they had so much fun :) I've been digging thru all my pictures again and scanning a few at a time, so many great memories. I found some Santa pictures with Nick, his first Christmas he was only two months old, we were at a friends and Santa came to theie house. It was so fun. I started thinking about that and have decided that I'm getting a Santa costume so that I can have someone come see Kyleigh at our house :) I can't wait. I also have bought Kyleigh's Halloween costume and decorations, we'll do it up big for her while she's at the house :) Going to schedule the Pumpkin Patch visit and the Boo at the Zoo visit too :) I am getting so excited about the coming months. I leave to see the Hot Air Balloons in NM in 10 days, I can hardly believe it's upon us already :)

Hi Toni, I just read your comments on my site and I thank you for your thoughtfulness. I am glad my flower pictures inspire you. I meant what I said I really love your flower book. You did a great job. 

Yes, I will be leaving on the 24 our flight is @ 6 PM and I hope there are no delays.  We are having a car take us to JFK being picked up at 3 PM.  I am going to be so excited!!  The cruise sails on the 26th.  Have you ever been on a cruise?  If so which ships?  This is our 11th cruise...I'm hooked.

Have a wonderful time in Jellystone Park camping this weekend.  Are you going with family?  How many days will you be away?  I guess the drive is a few hours away if you have to drive into Ohio.    I too hope you have perfect weather and cool temps...not hot but not cold.  This is a great way to enjoy the outdoors...do you do the whole works, campfire, roasting smores and sharing stories by the fire?  I have never been camping.   Of course you have your camera... right?

I'm sorry that the cabin thing is turning into a piece of work for you. That can be pretty stressful but it does sound like you will have room for things now and that is always a good thing. I couldn't believe how much stuff we had when we went to Galveston, it seemed like we needed a UHaul to hitch to the truck (and the truck is big). ZI always unestimate what we need to take. Plus we had Rider, his girl friend and Kyleigh, next thing I know the truck was overflowing. It doesn't bother me going to Galveston it's the return trip that you start thinking man there's no room in here :) It was a good time though. I sure hope that ya'll have the best time!!! I will be thinking and praying about it :)
I had two boys and they didn't give me much grief so Kyleigh will be the little girl I never had :) (in a way) I loove her to death but I can already tell you she is willful and head strong, it will take some prayer and strength to guide her :)

Godfreys Pond sounds pretty cool!! I love that it's not that expensive too. I want to check out the lake in Tyler, Texas. It's not that far from the us and I'll bet it's pretty.
Tennessee is my goal for next year, I really would love to go this year in the fall :) Maybe I can slip away and do it anyway. We'll see :)

HI Toni, my internet has been down for the weekend because of all the rain. It's pretty frustrating because we can put a man on the moon but apparently it's impossible for me to have internet that works during weather issues.
So Saturday after I got home from work I opened the mail box to find 6 postcards!! 5 were from you and 1 from my sister in law Becky :) Rider and Kyleigh loved their postcards!! I am so sorry I havent gotten back to you about Simple Path. Simple Path is a new way to make books. For Simple Path...

In "My Pictures" when you make an "album" and "share it" Shutterfly makes a book for you. It is called a Simple Path book. If you mix up the photos and take some from one album and some from another "Simple Path" will put them in chronological order. That feature is to help out basic story telling for the customer. But once the photos are placed you can move them around anyway you want. You need about 15 to 30 photos to fill a book, but I understand you can add more. You can also change the style of your book to the ones offered. The styles are put together as a theme with fixed layouts and fonts.

I think for us...who use "Custom Path" or the other system...Simple Path is great for putting together quick albums maybe for gifts.

It is really cool....

I was actually working on downloading my pictures when you left some comments on the site. I actually saw the comments pop up. How funny! Thanks for looking at my site. As you can tell, we had a good time. I now wish that I would have taken some more fall pics. When we were traveling through Wisconsin on the way home the colors were just popping. Hi Toni, We just returned from our Minnesota trip. It was fabulous. We went out on four different lakes. We did a lot of fishing and sight seeing. I got some pretty good pics that I am editing. Ohhhhhh I got bumped and I had a small novella written :) Ok here goes again.
Sorry I didn't make it back yesterday, when it rains (still is today too) I have no internet at home. It's so frustrating to think that I have that 80 dollar a month dish sitting in the back yard.......only to stop working in the rain.

That Mason is a character, I love it!! Kyleigh and I played with vacuum cleaner on Wednesday, I chased her around with the hose sucking her shirt up in it. She was laughing so hard that she could hardly run :) :) Such a wonderful sound. Mason sounds like he would be so much fun to be around.

Hi Toni, I had to work in surgery this morning so I am just now getting out and about to the sites. Looks like its going to be a busy afternoon too.
I love the pictures of the beetle to the right :) he may not be a welcome guest but he sure is purty :)
This is the first year in the new stadium for the Cowboys and the cost for parking is 40 dollars!! The average person can not attend the games because they have completely out priced the average family. So I doubt that I will get to see the inside of the new stadium anytime soon. The races are much less expensive and a ton of fun :) We laugh and trash talk each others drivers, it gets hilarious. Most of the time you can get the people in front and behind you involved in it too. I always end up meeting some pretty great people out there. The atmosphere is incredible. I tell everyone they should go to at least one race :) Texas has another race at Texas Motor Speedway in November and I'll probably try to attend that with Starla :) toooo fun :)

You are always so great to visit my books and my site and I'm horrible. Thank you for your kind commets always. We are definitely ready to to to Disney World in 7 days and counting. We will be staying 10 nights!! We live in Alabama so it's a 9 hours drive door step to door step. It's not too bad as the kids have gotten better as they have gotten older and know what's to come once we get there. This will be the first time we have gone in September and taken the kids out of school. I dred the homework that we will have to do on the way down BUT we have plenty of time to work on it. This will probably be our last trip that we pull them out of school for this long of a period. We have lots of fun planned to included Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and a private viewing of the New Tinker Bell movie (the kids don't know). We have annual passes so everyone once in a while we are there when we can take advantage of the extra perks.
I'm glad you liked my First Day of School scrapbook pages. It was pretty quick and simply to put together so I must of did something wrong... I know I have a typo I have to fix once I get my computer back up and running to normal.

I saw your comments on the postcard page. I have been to Tennessee but only with Rider, back in his racing days. I do have a picture of me standing in front of the Graceland gates :) But that's the extent of my visit. I want to go to Tennessee so bad. Guess what??!! Last night we got to get Kyleigh :) I was soooo happy. She was so sweet and kissing everyone. Then walked right in the house proclaiming everything she touched as "mine". The kid cracks me up :)
I thought I would have time to do some Gallery stuff today but the new doctor came by and next thing I know it's like 1:30p. I spent the entire afternoon catching up from that. We just finished for the day. I am tired, it doesn't feel like we just had a big ol holiday weekend.
I love the zoo!! I hope you do get to go to the zoo. I'll probably take Kyleigh to the zoo again in late October. We've got the State Fair coming up the end of this month. I love the Fair. It's so big that I went twice last year, had a ball :) Sure do hope it cools off a little :)

I was able to get Jonathan's hockey album complete and posted and will start working on the wedding album for the client in Australia. And then, I think I am going to start working on a few Christmas projects. I think all your great album postings gave me the inspirational nudge I needed.

Hi Toni, wanted to let you know that I commented on your great garden book :) It's really a pretty book, I love the color and the buzzing little guests too :) Cool!! You got the book for free and your friend was very right about your book being great. I love the Niagra Falls book too though, you have a B&W one that I love too!! All you books are wonderful :)
I went to Canton Trades Days but it was soooo hot I only ended up staying about a hour and 45 minutes. Apparently I was a day late too, all the Halloween stuff was cleaned out. I did manage to pick up a few Christmas and Fall signs that I liked. Canton has some great little shops that are open during the week, so maybe I'll find something there before too long. I think the next time I go to Canton it will be in the dead of winter, I do sooo much better in the cold.
Did you do anything today? Go anywhere?
I was sorry to hear that you just missed Mason, but I hope he had a wonderful time :) We don't get Kyleigh back til Tuesday and I am missing her pretty bad right now.

That's pretty great that you've traveled alot and the postcards sound great. I do the same thing, I always end up coming back with lots of extra postcards. But I usually will send them out as little surprises to friends and family throughout the year. I love getting postcards at the zoo and stuff, those are great to have around.
I'm hoping to have the final plans for an Alaskan cruise by the end of the year. I think that's so cool you son wants to go to Alaska. It's just beautiful there, at least in the pictures. Plus bonus for me is the cool weather :)

Well, we've never been on a cruise but we all have taken a vacation together. And like your Dad, we've traveled all over the US. No other place on earth have the same mystique as France...and that's my favorite place. Before I got married, I decided to take a trip halfway around the world in 1970...my older sister in Princeton, NJ paid for it. And in 1971, Ruth and I got married.
Julia and Evan started the new school year last Monday. Julia's now first grader and loves that her brother, Evan, is at "her" school.
Ruth and I explore local and regional tourist traps, museums, monuments and other places of historical interest and to document the experience so that others might be inspired to do the same-either to visit the same places we visited, or to be a tourist in their own backyards. Living in California, I was surprised whenever I ran into someone else who had lived here who had never been to say, Disneyland, or even the beach. That had always served as a reminder to not take for granted the many curious things that's around us and...why not check them out?
I used to upload my travel photos to Kodak Gallery until I switched to Shutterfly in 2007. I did create a number of photobooks thru Kodak. But Shutterfly is better!
I would like to know if Joe and his Dad are collecting graded rookie cards and autographed memorabilia of their favorite football players?

Dear Toni, THANKS A BUNCH for the B'day wishes. That was so sweet and thoughtful:-) As of now no plans but I'm 95% sure we go out to a nice place and have dinneron Monday my actual B'day.  On Sunday, I'll visit my Mom & Brother in Brooklyn. Have Sunday dinner there with them...the traditional Italian dinner sauce, meatballs, etc.

Yes, I do thank you for the info & facts you've been sharing I always love reading things like that. I also love on TV shows like HOW DO THEY DO THAT? For instance last night I saw a program on how the make pianos. very interesting and a lot of work is put into making them. So all those facts interest me.

Hope the school photos come out the way your kids lie them so that everyone can e happy. I think this year's Christmas card may be a photo from our vacation. Every time we have go away I always use one of those photos for my Christmas card. Otherwise I'll just take a photo taken from that year maybe it was a special occasion and we were all dressed up or a something like that. But this year with the vacation I am sure I'll find at least one picture to my liking.

So I guess he kids are back at school...how were the first few days? I can't believe the summer is almost over...where did the time go? And it seems as I get older the time goes by quicker and quicker.

School clothes shoping was always an adventure for me and the boys. They are sooo different. Rider loves and wants everythng he sees and Nick doesn't. Shoes were the easiest thing though. Clothes are so expensive anymore, especially if you're talking about a store like A&F or Hollister.
Hey is the beetle picture new? I don't remember seeing it before :) Love the flower pictures alot!!! I saw two butterflies over the weekend, one of them was huge but I wasn't near my camera. Drat!! Maybe next time.
Took Kyleigh back to her mom tonight and that always makes for a bummer night :( Takes me a couple days to get over it. Work is really busy and that always helps.
Canton is a small town about 15 minutes from where I live and they have a First Monday trades day every month, it famous and big!! I'm going this weekend just to look for a Halloween door sign :) Can't wait!! Then I'll look at the fun decorations and stuff at Hobby Lobby for the inside :) I'm all geared up and ready!! On October 1st I'll set up my Halloween village in my office, I love my villages. I'll take a picture and post when I do it :) The patiens get a real kick out of all the villages I put up :)
Last year I had surgery in December so I didn't get to be as hands on with everything as I like but this year I'm going to go crazy!!!
Hope your friend is doing well. Have Joe and Marina started school? How was it for them?

Ok because of your Halloween pictures I bought my first piece of Halloween decor today. I bought three cards from Hallmark and got a talking chest for 9 dollars. It has four different things that it says when you open it, it's squeaks and has the scary laughing. I love it. Plus over the weekend I found the Little Punkin Halloween punkin I bought last year. It's a picture frame ornament, I'll add a picture of Kyleigh and hang it some where. Now I am on the look out for door decoration :) So fun :)
Thanks for all the great tips on yeast fro Kyleigh. I am doing the bath water thing. She is looking so much better, it's just a huge relief. It's been fun having her around all this time. I love her soooo much.
I hope to have time to be in the Gallery tomorrow, looking at books. Maybe I'll be inspired to make something new in the next couple weeks. I have to do something with my Vancouver and San Diego pictures.
Did you do anything over the weekend? I didn't because I had Kyleigh mostly, not that I mind a day or two of nothing to do. I was on call too so that's always a snag in the plans. Was the weather rainy? Ours was hot but not as hot as usual.

I gave up the dirt bike simply because I was getting too old for that. Our three kids are done with college and each have a place of their own. Cynthia, our youngest daughter, lives close by her place of work (Sony Pictures) in Venice. She's the Accounting Manager. Belinda and her family are living here in Riverside, about 10 minutes from our house. She's a teacher. Raoul gave up California for Georgia because of Missy. They met about 5 years ago when Raoul and his band played in Athens, Georgia. He went to school in England, too. Missy is a graphic artist and is now working with Raoul for the same company (Burton and Burton). Part of their job is traveling to China. Belinda's husband, Shawn, is also in business. Last but not the least, Ruth is actively teaching Julia how to play the piano. And I stay busy doing other things.

Hello Toni, Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my photos of Luke's visit. He is 10 months old today. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family. We did catch quite a few fish last Sat. We have a lake behind our house on our property. We keep it stocked with bluegill, bass, and catfish. We actually caught about 15 bluegill in an hour but threw them all back because we were going out to eat for Jeff's birthday dinner. We have several huge catfish in the lake that we feed. I haven't had much of a chance to look at my computer this week. I have been busy redoing Janna's room for her for when she comes home from college to visit. With all of her collages and pics of her and her friends, it kind of looks like a shrine. LOL! I actually had to get her out of the room to get it done. LOL. The boots in the pic were for Luke. Jeff and Mary absolutely loved them. We also got him a camouflage jacket with a hood and a pair of little jeans. He will look absolutely adorable. I loved the comment that you made about Luke and Chico, the dog. It was so funny because Luke was actually taking his foot and trying to push Chico off of Larry's lap. We were dying laughing. The pic with Luke and the baseball was really funny too. Jeff had thrown the ball for our dog Gracie to fetch. Luke got to it first and kept it from Gracie. She didn't know quite how to handle a little guy taking over her territory. He holds his own with both of the dogs. He is so active. He crawls faster than most of us walk. He pulls up on everything and is already trying to climb up on furniture. Watch out mom and dad! Luke didn't cry one time over the weekend. He is just about perfect according to his Papa and me. LOL. We wished that he lived closer. I can't wait to finish my album that I have started for him. He will be one year old on Oct. 29, and I am going to make a 12x12 album for Jeff and Mary for Christmas. Larry and I are going to Minnesota for 10 days camping at Voyageur Lake next week with Larry's sister and her husband. I will probably have withdraws from my computer. I had withdraws when I was doing Janna's room. I want to get back on my computer in the next couple of days and look at all your new postings. You do such a fantastic job. I hope to learn a lot from your work. I will be taking my camera with me on vacation. I hear that we will see a lot of wildlife, such as Golden Eagles and Bald Eagles. I hope to get some good wildlife pics. Of course Janna and her friends won't be there for us to photograph all day so I probably won't have the volume of pics this time. LOL. The place that we are going is evidently very rustic and isolated. It will be very different from our usual Florida trips, but I am sure that we will have a good time. Thanks for the suggestion about Mary and Luke's pic in black and white. I will try that in his album and see how it looks. I would like to use some black and white mixed with color in his album. Hi Toni, thanks for all the well wishes, Kyleigh is getting much better!! The way she is improving I am hopeful to make a real dent in her recovery by Sunday. Little Punkin has been a pistol today, she' feeling better I hope!! I love the tips and will definitely be using the vinegar one, I have a few things that I will be doing long after this bout has ended!! We don't want to revisit this problem again for awhile.

Toni, I left work early today to take Kyleigh to the doctor, she now has a yeast and staph infection.........Yikes!! More anitbiotics and two new ointments, I've been doing bedding and pillows and tomorrow I'll do all the cushions to the couch. Thanks Toni for all of the super sweet words on Alyssa's book and Alyssa. She is so grown now starting the 4th grade. Those photos in the album were some of my favs from over the years I have taken. With my main hard drive still on hold I wanted to finish the album...there are three photos in the book that are straight with out anything but a crop. That is the 1st full bleed with Alyssa in the pool, then the two page spread with Alyssa and the horse and the 3rd is Alyssa in the bathtub...those pages all Shutterfly. There two photos that I messed with on PSE7 and used Shutterfly templates...the puzzle photo and the last page of her "screaming". The rest were PSE7 digital.

Toni, I love all the new pictures, I've been roaming around in here looking at all the great pictures!! Love that you added your book to the Niagra page, it looks wonderful on there!! The Halloween pictures are soooo fun!! I think I will do it up just a little bit better for Halloween now :) I put up villages here in my office starting the 1st of October, Halloween, then Harvest and then Christmas. I just love it and the patients get a real kick out of it too!! I think I'll do up Halloween more at home now, I loved your pictures!!!!

Hi! Everything went well today. Thanks so much for your thoughs and prayers. I posted more details about the results in my blog. Anyway, yes, the kids first day of school was this past Friday. They both got wonderful teachers so we feel really blessed. Brittlee is in 4th this year and Will is in 1st. Brittlee was mad at me today because I wouldn't let her skip school to go with us to Will's surgery. And of course, Will was tickled pink that he was already getting to play "hookie" less than a week into school. He wasn't missing an opportunity to rub that in big sisters face. lol. The pics of Will that you were looking at were from his Kindergarten graduation ceremony this past May. They grow up way too quick! I haven't had a chance to get many new pics uploaded lately but I have been uploading some last night and early this morning. I will be getting them posted to my site hopefully tonight.  Sorry to hear that John's friend passed away.  Will John now be returning back to Tenn?

 Did you take any photos of the happy get together?  I know that now that you know he is doing okay there is a big relief and weight off your shoulders.  Maybe before the year is over your husband and John can met up again and spend more precious time together.  I am sure the family is reliving that afternoon over and over again.

Toni, I was out of town for the weekend but I did get some time today to sit down and go thru email and all. So pleasantly suprised to get the pictures! Yipppeeeee! Cant wait to order them and have them framed. We are so excited! Thanks again, they are wonderful!

Toni, That's so exciting to hear that John made over to your husband. I would have been an emotional wreck myself, I'm not very good about hiding my feelings :) Even better you have his contact information. That has to be a huge relief just knowing that he is ok and doing well. That's definitely a blessing.
Glad you got a kick out of cat's meow, I use that alot :) :) That and little punkin, but I think you know that one :)

Hi Toni, I have working my hinder off, no time for anything yesterday. I did go to the Christmas store for lunch, that was a fun thing. Thanks for looking at those pictures, I took them with my iPhone, they didn't turn out too bad :) I love Christmas, really love it and usually by October I am getting excited about all the holidays. Love the colors and the decorations, just love it all :)
Do you have big weekend plans? I'm on call and here at work for a while then back in surgery tomorrow morning. I absolutely do not like call and then only good thing about it is getting paid. I am always grouchy about it though. I'd rather be home or somewhere taking a few pictures :)

First let me say thanks so much for the sweet and thoughtful comments about my Snug Harbor book..I am glad you liked it and it put a smile on your face.  Your comments mean a lot to me.  I love exploring my neighborhood and other neighborhoods near me,even if it is a 10 or 20 minute drive.  Just like you going to the falls.  I often go into Manhattan for the day just to explore and "Play tourist" in NYC.   LOL even though it is a 50-60 minute drive in by express bus.  Last Saturday my girls and I went into the city and spent the day at The American Museum of Natural History.  Just for fun.

I also appreciate you kind comments about my dad and missing him.  Your sweet comments brought joy into my heart.  I truly appreciate what you said.  It also broke my heart to read about your husbands' life and the many tragedies he has experience with his family.   I am truly sorry and wonder how much can one person take.  Is his uncle still living?  I will keep you and your family in my prayers and may your years ahead be filled with joy and peaceful days. 

And here's to continuing our exploring and sharing on Shutterfly.  By the way i enjoy my visits here.

That will be fine. I think I mentioned that he is in the middle of remodeling his new office so it will be a couple of weeks before I get to hang them but I thought I would go ahead and have them framed. I am thinking about ordering poster sized prints to really make a statement?!?!? What do you think? I showed my husband your pics and told him you were going to be kind enough to let us print them and he was excited. He said the pics were amazing! I am going to be out of town alot of the weekend but I will be back around early next week. Chat then!

I am so grateful for your visit, messages and your positive feedback on my book! I agree with you when you said that Shutterfly friends have so much in common. We also speak the same language (photography and family) and we all live under one sky.
I've visited your site and I've viewed your photobooks. And as far as I'm concerned, you have detailed, informative and meaningful journaling on your books that touches the heart of everybody! There's absolutely nothing special about my journaling. I just do it without worrying about the opinion of others. The only thing I do with my journaling is simply avoiding obvious remark or comment. I also don't use a sentence or phrase that is popular or common. And most of all, I avoid using "overused cliches" and opinion with little meaning! Cheers!

I'm so in love with your butterflies...they are wonderful...(and challenging when they won't pose like good little things. Wow...they are just lovely. I had a odd butterfly visit the other day. I can't remember his name so I posted him on flickr and found out. He was pretty though. Have you tried your hand at the hummers yet? Do they like it there? I wish I could go visit Barbara next month when they all flock to her (and Lisa and Starla) hahaha....My hubby wont go for it though! sniff...I really did try! maybe I can talk him into next yr? We were suppose to go to Longaberger next month but I spend way too much money. I told him i'd rather put it toward camera stuff. (I have collected baskets since 1995 and have about 600) (I sell them also// or support my habit. hahaha) I have a wedding to take pictures at on Sat. i'm nervous! VERY! wow....hey, email me...I don't think I have your email plugged in? or didn't put your name on it. I always forward camera newsletters and scrap things. I am working on a couple books but got a little stumped so I stopped for a while. Not feeling creative today. I'll think on it for awhile and something will come to me. I did not know the 4x4's were gone, I love those little books!!! Great for the purse or as gifts. Bummer. I will try the 'make one like this' and see what happens. Your book is wonderful, so full of color and fun, I love it. I hope that your dad sticks to his assignment for his adventure, you'll be able to make a wonderful book for him :)
Rider will be 20 next Tuesday, I can hardly believe that. I don't think he can believe that either :) He doesn't act like he wants to grow up. He's crazy about his girlfriend and that seems to be absolutely all he can think of at the moment. Drives me insane!!
For Christmas our office is having the annual Christmas party at a place in Grapevine. There's going to be a train ride and so much Christmas stuff, I'll be hurting myself taking pictures. It's not til December 5th but I am soooo excited because I get to take Kyleigh with me. She will have a blast!!!!
I'm hoping to have a new camera by then so it might be even more exciting!!! Can't wait. I know that winter brings alot of harse weather for ya'll, I wish we could share. I would give you some warm stuff and you could sprinkle some snow on me :) That would be great!!

I have never taken any classes on photography, though i would love to after hearing all the great things Connie has been learning in her class. I really dont know how to use half the functions on my camera. I have a pretty basic camera, it is actaully a Fuji Fine Pix, 10x zoom. I like to use the preset functions.....LOL! So yeah we live in the same state, I live just outside Syracuse, NY.

Oh yea! I am so glad you don't mind! He has been after me to get out and take some insect pics for him, but when I saw yours I just thought they were fab!!!! Ok, so I am thinking I would like some of the beetle, bee, and grasshopper. The butterfly pics are beautiful too but noone ever calls about getting rid of butterflys! lol. So, I really like the vertical and horizontal pics of the beetle and grasshopper that are featured in the right column towards the bottom of this page. You can just pick out a couple of good bee pics for me. I would like to have a horizontal and vertical option for the bees also so I can frame them all going the same direction and hang them in a group along one wall. They just bought a new office and are in the process of remodeling and moving. This will dress up the lobby so well! Yea!!!!! Thank you , thank you , thank you! If you would rather just share the pics with me from your shutterfly acct. then I can just order the prints from shutterfly that would be fine, or if you want to email the specific pics that is fine too. Hey Toni. Thanks so much for coming by. I loved your book. It is so bright and color and fun the things you can find just when you are out and about. It will be a good keepsake for when you do relocate. As a kids we moved around Texas...Mainly San Antonio area and then my sophmore year to Gainesville. I spent the rest of my highschool here. I was glad that I did.
Rhonda is also my sister in law. She is Lisa's sister...Jason's to. There is six of them. Lisa, Rhonda, Wade, Stephanie, Jason and Amanda in that order. Was confusin for me at first but after being in this family for years I know it all and love them all.
I am not sure about anything being stress free this week. This is the week we prep for shcool. Meetings on Tuesdsay all day. WEdnesday I came in to wait on the milk man and he did not get here unitil around 10, so I cleaned my kitchen while I waited and noticed that my freezer and fridge were not working....called put in work orders did everything I was supposed to do. I am here at school this morning waiting for my groceries or the ones I can receive anyway because I walked in this morning and My FREEZER IS DOWN.. I called my boss and told her that someone could have called me and I would not have gotten up at 4 this morning!!!!!!!! K'Lee also had to take her to the doc yesterday and he said it was sinus but with her fever and soreness I think it's strept. So she is on an antibiotic. Hopefully will be better before the first day of school. Anyway...my truck just pulled up so I need to put the groceries away......talk at ya soon.

Hey Toni....peeking in and trying to make the site rounds. So much going on...finished shoe shopping yesterday with the kids. I still need to get "class room" supplies to donate to Tyler's class but the kiddos are ready to go. Alyssa and Tyler start school next week and Trinity on the 1st. Hi TONI, Yes it is hot here in NYC in the 90's and I do have central air. It really helps a lot. Does it ever reach the 90's in your part of the state? My husband hates the heat and couldn't live without central air.

Victoria works for Meridith Corp. They own CBS affiliated stations across the nation and they also publish magazine. Parent, Ladies Home Journal, & Better Homes and gardens just to name a few. She is part of the TV department dealing with commercials airtime and selling. So far she is happy.

Hi Toni, Yep I did get a chuckle out of the 'creeper' comment :) :) I can so hear one of my sons calling me that :) :) I loved the two books you sent me to look at, I spent a little time this morning in the Gallery. I always get so inspired when I'm in there.
I haven't been sleeping well since I turned 40 or so, just can't seem to get a good nights sleep unless I take something, like Lunesta or something. I worry about taking stuff on surgery mornings though. I go to bed noramlly around 9 or 10 but that doesn't seem to get the job done. I'm working on a plan for it and I have been taking naps when I can too. They say that 15 napping is worth 4 hours of up time. We'll see. Still bummed about my car. I'll have it paid off in 4 months and now it's wrecked. Randy is a paint and body man so they'll fix it in their shop but because I'm the wife I will be put on the back burner :( Looks like the damage is in the 2000 dollar range already, yikes! Thank goodness for insurance.
My sister has been scanning old pictures that we got from my Granny, 100's and 100's of them. I went there this weekend and picked up a box full to do from here, at least 500 in the box. We laughed and laughed over some of the pictures, Us older three, me, Rhonda and Wade are the ones in most of the pictures or at least the old stuff. OMGosh we looked so silly in some of the pictures. It was fun looking at them and talkig about the old days. She put up a share site to share them with us (mimishouse4.shutterfly.com), if you want a good laugh go visit it.
I love that you went to the training camp again. I wish the Cowboys did it around here. It would kill them in the heat though.

You should do a flower book - I think I am when I get a free moment. I saw a couple of real butterflies fluttering by this weekend at the lakes but I could never get one on my camera. It rained a lot!!!
Thank u for the kind comment of my sisters wedding book. Yes, I did scan in all the images. It wasn't too bad. It turned out really nice. They did have a good photographer even back then.
I think I need to do some revamping on my site. I haven't had time except to change out the header photos on home page.

Hi Toni, I am running behind on the sites, work is got me hopping. So I finally have a moment to myself to drop by. Are you out doing something exciting? I love the idea that you're making a book out of the training camp pictures!! He will love that in the years to come. I laughed my tail off that he called you a creeper :) :) still makes me laugh!!! That's so something my son would say to me :) :) But if that's what it takes, then that's what it takes. While we were at the lake last weekend Nick asked me to take his picture, after I regain my ability to believe my ears I gladly abliged him :) :) That's how come I got away with the pictures I added to my site, guess he was feeling generous. I about died when I saw the pictures of me on Starla's site, I look awful, that's what heat and weight will do for ya!!! I had a good time but it sure doesn't look like it in those pictures :) Thanks for the great comments on my new book, it was fun to make and I think they're going to order it too. Hey there Toni!! Thanks for the comments. You asked how far Lisa lived....she lives about two to two and a half hours away. She is so fun and whenever I need her she is there for me. She is great!! I shop on LTD sometimes...that is where I got K'Lee's backpack and lunch box. She just loves them. When we go over to Sherman it is fun and girl time with K'Lee which she loves and deserves for helping me so much. Anyway I need to get dressed and start heading to Garland to my Grandmas. I wanted to tell you that I was feeling up to making rounds and was on Joey's site and came back to mine to click your link and there you were leaving a comment!!
First off I wanted to tell you girl!!! I sure hope all goes well for you. When I was growing up there was four of us and we went where are parents said the money was. I would be struggling with the decision of a senior too, but I do think that i would agree with you that he needs to be with friends and the ones he has been with and not somewhere new. Senior year is one of the most important things in life that usually give you very good memories. From the senior trip, party, skip day, homecoming, prom, graduation....well you get it. I think I would be feeling the same as you.
I have been seeing that you made a book for your mom. I am going to try to find it. I am working on one for my grandma and I want it to be very special. I am taking my time getting pics together. I do not do the digital scrap...don't know how...but if I can put them togetther the way I see it in my mind I think it will be fine.
I was very glad that Lisa came camping with us......And she did nap in the chair in the waves for about ten minutes maybe. SHHH don't tell her I don't think she thinks anyone realized. Lisa always comes here....I really need to make a trip to see her and go down there. It would be fun I know it would. I love these colorful new flowers on here. So bright and sunny and fun!!!!
K'Lee starts the third grade on the 24 and I start as my new manager on the 24 as well. I am very excited about it all. I am very ready for mine to go back to school. I am just not a stay at home mom and in the summer they get bored even with as much as we do. When school starts I will be busier and not so much time on my hands to think about my grandma and stuff!! I went today and got all of K'lee's supplies but clothes is a different story. The only thing we have here in this town (that is affordable) is walmart so we have to go to Sherman. That is an all day trip and Regan has to go to the sitter!! Jason is looking into buying a pontoon boat....not too thrilled about that...more on that later!

About the possible move. I could definitely see letting your son stay at a friends, that would be soooo hard to do to a senior in school. When I was little all I wanted was to have exactly what you've described for your kids. The same school district and friends since starting school. I prayed for it. It was something I kept in mind when starting Nick and Rider in school. I wish you all the best in the coming year. I pray that something will come about to make things work for the kids and you as a parent.
Yeah, I wrecked my dang car. I'm still pretty upset over it. I am not having such a good week, hoping for better next week :)

Oh My Toni, Your family members lost their jobs and all from the same company? What company did they work for? This is terrible!!! What are they doing now, working for another company or searching for work? It breaks my heart to read news where good honest working class people who only want to make an honest days wage can't anymore. It makes my blood boil. Ok I could hardly believe that three of the men in your life have all lost their jobs from the same place. That's awful!!! I wish them the best. I get really upset thinking about the kind of shame that corp America has been allowed to mess with people and their lives. It seems that the hard workers, the backbone, take it on the chin in every American crisis regardless of the corp criminals who started it. Pardon me, but that's how I feel. Now about Indiana, will all of them be possibly going to Indiana? You know Connie (Etters Creations) and Scott (Scott Taylor Photography) both live in Indiana. My husbands, Mothers, Dad's relatives are all from Indiana and Indiana is home to the Brickyard (Nascar track) :) It can be hard on teens to move, how will the kiddos handle it? I moved alot when I was young, my dad was in the military, we lived everywhere!! Even in Turkey for three years. I wish ya'll all the best!!!
Thanks for the great comments on the camping pictures :) That fish you commented on is the 20 pounder I was talking about, he was good eats!! It was definitely hot but I still managed to have a good time :) Starla and I can laugh at just about anything. The kids love the water so much that you don't really have to do much to entertain them :)

Gosh I thought I left you a comment this morning?? I don't know what happened. I came back to tell you that it's only 4 months til Christmas and I love it, can't wait. Every year I get all excited starting in October, the weather starts to cool off and the season colors start popping up. Makes me soooo happy :) I start buying my Christmas ornaments for the year :) This year I have a few ideas for adding another tree, we'll see how it works out though. Miss Kyleigh loves to touch!!
Camping darn near melted me, it was so hot I could hardly breath. But it was fun too. All my sisters and brothers were there, we don't get the whole bunch together all the time. Nick went with us, it was a treat to have him along. We caught a 20 pound bluecat and Randy fried some of it up Snday night after we got home :) Lake Texoma is a really big lake, like a small ocean so the shore has waves breaking, the kids had a ball. I sat in a lawn chair in the water with the waves rolling over my feet, so relaxing :) I could have slept right there. We ate burgers and dogs while telling family stories and laughing our tails off. I took loads of pictures. I hope to have them posted by tonight :)
Was the weekend good to you? You said you would be relocating next year? Where to? For a job or the military?

Hi Toni, Thanks for all the great comments!! I love when you drop by. I made it thru camping, almost melted but survived. We laughed alot and the water was great rolling up and over my feet. The kids had a ball swimming all over the place. We caught a 20 pound bluecat, Randy fried some up last night and it was good!! We saw a big, bad motorcycle wreck on the way home, stopped and helped with that so we didn't get home til around 4p, had to get Kyleigh at 6p. She's such a little punkin :) makes me happy just having her around.
Think I might take some pictures of my office a little later today. Show everyone where I'm working during the day........command central, LOL!!!

Hope everyone is well. Thanks for stopping by and viewing my Alice Austen photos. I'm glad you liked them and yes that was a real goat by the bridge. They bring goats in for the summer so that they eat the grass and the parks department doesn't have to move. Then then go back to a farm and once the spring comes around again the goats are back... I never knew this until we asked a man you was there.

Yes,  I'm still holding on to hope that Reuben & Maruis can rebook and join us on the cruise.  If I could I'd cross my toes too.  It is 49 days and counting...I can't wait.

Hi Toni - I just left you a comment on your journal entry about your fun family time. I can so relate to everything you said (as I explained in the comment.) Thanks for your comments about MY recent fun family day. I know you understand completely having kids that are similar in age to my own! My daughter, Jordan, is looking for a summer/part-time job, but with the economy and all she's having trouble - not much out there for teenagers right now. School starts soon anyway, but since she's driving now and has a Jeep, she really wanted a job! Hopefully she'll still find something soon. Well, hope you have a great weekend. Any exciting plans? You sure have been busy making books lately - awesome. I know I get on a roll with them myself sometimes then go for awhile not being very productive. Talk to you soon!

Toni, I saw on Lisa's quote page that your husband liked the quote about summer and mowing the lawn. LOL it is a cute quote. I have an unusual fact for you, Scandinavian fokelore describes newborns "red cheeks' as stork bites.

Our visit with our friends Reuben & Maruis was fabulous. It was a day I didn't want to end. Dinner was wonderful and we had many things to catch up on. And as of today they still have not rebooked the cruise, which makes me sad. And my cruies is 51 days away. Who knows if they can even find a cabin at this time. Yet, I'm still not giving up hope. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that they will be able to book the cruise again. I'll keep you posted if the news is good.

Hi Toni, I love all the Christmas pictures of Mason. He's adorable!! I can't wait to take pictures of Kyleigh again this year. She'll probably be a little more active like taking things completely off the tree but I'll have fun taking the pictures :) I've got a couple ideas for her and pictures, Christmas is my all time favorite!!! Little punkin!!
You're garden is wonderful!! So so many pretty flowers! Texas is not nearly as colorful this time of year, most things are brown by now. It was 103 today, 108 in the car at lunch!! Not many pretties can live in that kind of heat. I feel better in cooler weather so I start longing for winter in June :) :) I know I'm a nut.
I'm glad you enjoyed my journal, it's become a nice outlet for me. I have always wanted to write and the journal affords me that if only for a moment :) I'd have to learn how to spell, I have always been very bad at spelling and transposing letters or words even. They call it deslexia but I call it 'probably not giving it enough attention' :)
Love the training camp pictures. On my 18th birthday my best friend threw me a surprise Dallas Cowboys birthday party. It was awesome, I got so many Cowboys things!! It was soooo fun. I was so crazy over the Cowboys that I was known for it. The Coaches in school would ask if I caught the game :) :) I understood football really well because my Uncle Jimmy taught me one year. I thnk I was like 10 or so, it was over after that I was addicted!!
My iPhone and I are forging a relationship, my favorite feature by far is the texting. I love to text and the iPhone makes that so easy and way faster. Lord help me but I love it!!
I'm glad you liked the Family page :) I'm the oldest of 6 and we are definitely a mixed bag of nuts!!! We have a good time no matter what we do and Christmas is usually toooo fun!! Us older three are closer than the bottom three, I was already out and living on my own when Amanda was born. I probably have the least in common with her but I adore my two crazy nut sister-in-laws (you might know Starla :) we laugh our tails off!! Talk about texting, they are my text buds!!! Going camping with them this weekend :) Hope I get some good, funny, pictures!!!

Toni, I love the new pages!! The training camp looks like a blast!! I am a big, big Cowboys fan and when I was in high school I sneaked into a hospital to meet Charlie Waters!! He was awesome and talked to us forever. I've never been to Niagra but it sure looks wonderful.
I looked at a couple more of your books this morning and wanted to tell you haw great I thought they are. You are so good at them and prolific making them too. Love that. You've inspired me to get off my duffer and get busy on mine :)

We have already sailed on 10 cruises. My anniversary cruise will be this September 26 and we sail from Southampton, U.K.. We are going to Spain, Portugal, Sardinia, Rome and Pisa/Florence, Cannes. I am glad it's Sunday, I slept in and I don't do that often, it was nice. We get Miss Kyleigh back at 6 tonight, I am sooo ready to see her little face :) I went to Oklahoma yesterday to visit a friend I had not see in a while, it was a great visit. Took all day because it's about 3 1/2 hours from here. It was a nice drive though :) I have pictures but I'll post them tomorrow.

I don't think they sell the Merry Go Cycle in store. I ordered that one from "AAA State of Play" in Indiana for Julia's 6th birthday last February. The little girl in Evan's car was also his sister Julia...picture was taken about 2 years ago.

Hi Toni, it's been a little stressful this week but I'm getting a grip finally. Having my phone taken was a nightmare. But I have a new phone and I'm slowly at numbers to it, probably will be for the next month at least.
How's it going for you? Where did you see all those butterflies? I haven't seen a one at home, none! I'm looking at all these sites and see butterflies all over the place.
Do you have big plans for this weekend?

Toni, I was gone all day yesterday and I'm sorry I didn't get here in time to wish the best for your photo adventure! I can't wait to see all your pictures and I hope that you have a wonderful day!! Sounds like a great place to go on the weekends :) I would love it. I went to the Ft. Worth Stockyards yesterday after my meeting and it was sooooo hot that I got sick. I was only able to hang out there for about an hour. I was so bummed, but there's no way I could take the heat anymore. It was way over a 100, no breeze and the sun was beating down. So I have decided I am going back in October or November when it's much cooler (that could still be in the 80's here in Texas). I did manage to take some pictures but you can tell I was not feeling good. Makes me mad at myself!!

Toni......heard you are going to the Renaissance Festival. We have one here in Michigan too. In fact, Rene' and I renewed our wedding vows for our 10th year anniversary in full costume. He was a king and I was a princess. There is a great story to go along with this....I will post some pics and put the 'surprise' along with it.

ok, so your words have plastered a big goofy grin on my face for the past three days, and it feels great. no... im not a professional, but the idea that you think i could be means everything. im 22 and have a 6 megapixel sony cybershot that i got back in high school. iv always loved to take pictures, it started when i was a kid. part of it was the beauty, but mainly just because i was scared to death of forgetting anything.... still am. and now that im at the point where im supposed to pick this 'job' to do for the rest of my life, i know taking pictures is the only thing that would keep me sane, or insane... whichever... me, haha. your pictures look wonderful and so does your family. thanks again, seriously.

Oh yea, about the postcards. I scan them just as they are, some are crisp and clean, others are beat up and sad. I say scan them just as they are, love the history of them. I like knowing that all the scratches are from being on the refriderator :) :) That's the nature of a postcard!! I look forward to seeing your collection!! Ringo Starr has a big collection of postcards his Beatle bandmates sent him thru the years. He made a book of them a few years back!! It's really good :)

I had so much fun at the fair this last time and I think you can tell that in the book. I'm thrilled if I have inspired you in any way at all. Can't wait to see your future event books. Hey Toni...I was going to ask you if it was ok if I called you Toni but everyone else so I'm gonna. Thank you for all you kind comments on my photos. I entered some photos in the Land of Nod contest. Not sure which ones. I know I entered a few of the pool party and some from Galveston. I also entered some in the Shutterfly Summer Challenge and my book to from Galveston. So much fun. My pictures are gradually getting better. I have only had a camera since Christmas!! And I have soooooooooooo many photos. I love it. Thanks for the comments on the Girls to. K'Lee and her team won National Champs in Grapevine TX and won jackets. It was great! I was so excited. They worked so hard for it and deserved it. Thank you again.

Hi Toni, My sister Tina's son is David - he'll be 14 in Sept and they live in Mpls. My sister Traci & husband and their 3 kids, Jack 8.5, Abby 6, & Madeline 3.5 live near me so I see them often. My brother and his wife have a shizt tzu and also live in Minneapolis. I did a book on my sister Tina - Its called Kristina (her frst name). I think you may have seen it. I gave it to her for her bday, the day after mine.
I think I added a picture of my niece Abby and myself to your pictures too.

Toni, I was blown away this morning by all the great comments you left me on my pages :) Made my morning, Joey sent me a letter and a pretty flower picture so she made my afternoon:) It doesn't get better than that!!!
I love all the additions to your site, you have been working on it!!! I love all the beautiful babies on here :) So adorable!! Are you going to do your kids their own pages? Rider was always a ham, loved haing his picture taken. Nick didn't. So I have learned to get the shots off before he realizes or make deals with him. Like, I'll leave you alone if you'll let me take a couple pictures. It usually works too. I hope you do make pages for them :)
I love the share page, the interaction amoung us is so great :)

Oh, you said I should do a book just for me. I did. It's my Self Portrait book - I got the idea from Ann Abbott. I added little words of wisdoms to mine. I also want to do a book like LaraH did. I think it's called Ten Things About Me. Thats on my to-do list.

Sony makes a great little camera, bet it gets the job done for you :) I use a Canon Rebel and love it. But several of the share site gals use Sony's and their pictures are wonderful. I say this to everyone:
The camera itself is worthless without the vision of you behind.

Hi Tonette! This is a fabulous site. I love all the family pics and your adorable nephew at the bottom. Fun flower pics. I have been taking lots too. I may have to do a flower book!! I have the same thing going on w/ my name as you were talking about on GG Central. My first name is Joanna but I just prefer Joey but as a kid all the boys w/ a name as Joel or Joe would go as Joey too. I use Joanna for my bills etc. I just feel Joey is lighter. LOL.
I love both your names Tonette is pretty as well as Toni.
