Welcome to the Roseland Dia de La Tierra (Earth Day) site. As part of our continuing effort to strengthen cross-cultural ties, while promoting health and wellness in the community, the Roseland Earth Day Organizers (REDO) committee in partnership with community members and grassroots organizations will host it's 2nd Annual "Dia de La Tierra-Earth Day." On Sunday, April 25th 2010 in Roseland, Santa Rosa from 12pm-4pm.
This Earth Day celebration will focus on the connectivity between climate change, carbon footprint, community health-equity, and living sustainably among the multi-ethnic communities of Sonoma County.
Roseland Earth Day will use a multi-pronged proactive approach to demystify the green-movement, sustainability, promote Native American, Aztec and Mayan Mexican Indigenous traditions, health, wellness and green jobs.
