What a shock...
...to be in the hot, sandy Sahara Desert one day and the next, a blizzard in Colorado! We had no boots for the boys, so we tied plastic bags around their feet, put socks on their hands and let them out into the 2 feet of snow that had fallen our first night there. We spent two months in Colorado, spending time with my (Maureen's) family and praying about where God wanted us to go next.

Psalm 121I lift my eyes up to the hills- where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not
slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber
nor sleep. The Lord watches over you- the Lord is your shade at
your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon
by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over
your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both
now and forevermore.

Latest Lesson
Sometimes life doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Like the blind man whose
vision was restored the first time but
things were still a little fuzzy... What
is needed in this moment (or day or
week or season)? Trust. Trust in the
One who WILL touch again - who
WILL make it clear eventually. Trust.
Even if it is a "fuzzy" trust.
So For Now...
We're here in Edmond, Oklahoma. Very much still impassioned for the nations, very much still wanting to impact the world. Brian just returned from Mexico, Spain and Morocco - great trip for him, reconnecting with old co-workers and friends. And he loved being back in North Africa. I was jealous!
