The Exodus

As many of you know, the Russell Family is preparing to leave Egypt on April 17th.  After much prayer and consideration, we are feeling led to close this chapter of our lives and begin a new one somewhere in the United States.  We've been living here in Hurghada, Egypt for a little over a year.  Like other transitions before, this one is filled with many emotions - sadness, reflection of times past, excitement, and anticipation to what is to come.  It has certainly been a great experience for all of us.


A Verse of Hope...

Oh and I know its going to be hard to leave there and the friendships you have, but you have some really anxious friends awaiting your return to Colorado!!!! :o) Praying for a safe and uneventful transistion. :o)

So What's Next?

Well, we've decided to spend a month or more in Parker, Colorado which is very close to where Maureen's parents and brother live.  We found a temporary furnished rental to stay in as we pray, debrief, re-group etc. after living oversees for so many years.  Brian has been doing a lot of soul searching in regards to what his passions are and what he wants to dedicate the rest of his life to.  What he has come to is very exciting, and he would love to share it with anyone who is interested.  He has a new personal email address: brianjosephrussell@gmail.com.  So one major part of our time in Colorado will be seeking the Lord, knocking on doors to see where He will have us next.  We feel as though God is leading us to a place of settledness, to plant some roots and really have a home - maybe for the first time since we've been married.  That's an exciting thought.
