Welcome to my site. The adventure to Machu Picchu began on September 16th with a whirlwind tour of Cusco, the Sacred Valley and then Lake Titicaca. Also if you'd like more information about the destinations, just click on the names below the google map. Below is a photo book with more pictures. Enjoy!

To view the photos, rather than waiting for ALL of the pictures to scroll by (which would be the equivilent of watching paint dry) click on the see all 244 pictures, then you can either watch the slide show or just zoom in on the ones that interest you! Also if you want to view the itinerary, when you click the on Sacred Earth Journeys link that is listed as Peru- Heart of the Pachamama, make sure you then go to 2009/2010 tour schedule and then click on visit past tours. You will then click on Heart of The Pachamama Peru.
There were some responses from people that wanted to know more about Lake Titicaca. As Puma had said about the energy there, we would find it even more powerful there than we had at some of the sites we had been to around Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
I had a particular interest to go there because of many of the books I had read about Peru. One in particular was called the Serpent of Light by Drunvalo Melchizedek. He talks about how the earth's kundalini energy has moved from Tibet and India to Peru. Also I had read Jorge Luis Delgado's book called the Andean Awakening, and Jonette Crowley's book The Eagle and The Condor and I knew I had to experience Aramu Muru for myself.
The visit with the Uros Indians was so magical. The energy in and around the lake is the most peaceful and serene I have experienced anywhere. Of course the fact that there are so many UFO sightings and stories had its appeal for me as well. Unfortunately we didn't see any UFO's( although I was looking at the dark circles over my picture of Puno and wondering).
If you are planning a trip to Peru, I would say make sure to include Lake Titicaca too!
After posting my pictures on the blog in photobook form, I got responses back from people that it was hard to see the pictures that way so... I have posted the pictures in the pictures window so that you can see them in a larger format, or just zoom in on the ones you select. I have also added more comments as well.
The trip was a physical journey to Peru, but it was also very much an inward journey as well. We were blessed to have had two wonderful and powerful Paqos (shamans) with Puma in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu and Jorge Luis in Lake Titicaca.
They both were an absolute wealth of knowledge.
I enjoyed every aspect of the trip. From the sites we visited and the sacred ceremonies we performed to the vast and expansive landscapes we experienced. It was a very diverse group of 10 strangers that embarked on the adventure together, only to emerge a week later as a close group of friends, that had shared some consionsness expanding experiences together.
Also a big thank you to Helen for her hard work in the planning and organization of these trips as well. I know that there is a lot of effort on her part and in many capacities she works, to make sure that things run smoothly.
For those of you who are thinking of taking the trip.... go for it!
The journey has almost ended at this point, and I will be sad to leave Peru! I will be leaving with many warm memories, new friendships here and within our group, and WAY too many souvenirs. Rather than list off the itinerary, you can follow our path on the link to the Sacred Earth Journey link and go to Peru, Heart of the Pachamama ( Mother Earth).
The hightlights of the trip for me were the various sacred sites that we visited, the lunch at our guide Puma's house, Machu Picchu, and especially Lake Titicaca and visiting the floating Islands of the Uros Indians. It was pure magic!
