Ascension Day
17th May
Grant, we pray, Almighty God,
that as we believe your only-begotten Son our Lord Jesus Christ
to have ascended into the heavens;
so we in heart and mind may also ascend
and with him continually dwell;
who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
The Sixth Sunday of Easter
Rogation
God our redeemer,
you have delivered us from the power of darkness
and brought us into the kingdom of your Son:
Grant, that as by his death he has recalled us to life,
so by his continual presence in us he may raise us to eternal joy;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Worship on Wednesday
The group has decided that WOW should continue during the months September - June!
30th May @ 6.30 pm!
"Fire!"
The service, which will last just forty five minutes, is held on the last Wednesday each month. It is alternative, interactive, imaginative and lots of fun (and food) as we worship God and get to know one another.

Developing a Parish Vision Statement
... a work in progress ...
We aim to draw people to Christ:
the way, the truth and the life.
...
How do we fulfil this aim?
We will try to …
Grow closer to God
through teaching, prayer and Bible Study.
Reach out to one another
in love and friendship.
Engage with the local community
in new and creative ways.
Have a world vision
as we continue to be involved with the wider church
through partnership and practical commitment.

Saint Nicholas' is just over a mile away on the left - opposite the Fire Station at Cadogan Park. If you're arriving from the Ring Road .... either go along Balmoral Avenue and turn right towards the City Centre at the King's Hall junction or - go towards the City Centre along the Malone Road and turn left into Cadogan Park - the next road after you've passed "Action Cancer".
