Saint Nicholas' Parish Church, Belfast - Lent
During Lent we join with five other churches for a study evening each Tuesday.
In Holy Week the United Churches on the Lisburn Road share an evening service.
Easter Day begins with a "Dawn" Service at 8.30 am followed by a cooked breakfast and then a United Holy Communion at 10.30 am.

Lent 2011 - memories and photographs
Six churches in south Belfast join for a series of Tuesday evening meetings during Lent. (Belfast South Methodist, Windsor and McCracken Presbyterian and Saint John's and Saint Nicholas' Church of Ireland.)
On this page you'll see photographs from each evening so enjoy catching something of the atmosphere and, if it isn't too late, join us at the church listed!
Lent gives members of the six churches involved in "Faith Seeking Understanding" an opportunity to gather for study and fellowship.
The first meeting was in Saint Nicholas' when Rev Fr Eddie O'Donnell was the speaker and Dame Nuala O'Loane the interviewee.
The second Lent talk was held in Windsor Presbyterian Church when the Rev Fred Munce was preacher. Mrs Joan Weir, who is involved with Divine Healing Ministries, was the interviewee.
After the service guests gathered for fellowship over a cup of tea.
The preacher - Rev Alex Wimberly and the guest interviewee Mr Alan McBride. The third Lent service was in Saint Brigid's.
Preacher in Saint John's Malone was Rev Paul Erskine with guest interviewee Rev Jennifer McWhirter.
