Introduction

We are in partnership with the Diocese of Kajiado in Kenya through CMSIreland.
In 2010 a family from Saint Nicholas' spent some time in Kenya helping out in various areas including the mobile clinic.
We've had guests from Kenya from time to time and take a close interest in the work and ministry of the Rev Naftaly Lemooke and his wife Gladys.  They have five children - two boys (Samuel and Titus) and three girls (Esther and the twins Beatrice and Elizabeth).

Mobile Phones

Did you know that a key component of your mobile phone
is a mineral called coltan - which is mined in DR Congo.

CMSI can now recycle your old mobile phone
and the money will go towards the work of CMSI
in our partner countries like DR Congo!

Contact our offices for an envelope!

Lemasusu, Diocese of Kajiado

The Parish Church of Saint Patrick at Lemasusu, built in 2006.  The Pamoja team working in partnership with the church members almost completed construction in just under three weeks.  The building is now in use every day for nursery education and group meetings and also for regular worship services.
Bishop Jeremiah Taama dedicated the site and building while the Pamoja Team was still there.
The Rev Naftaly Lemooke is the parish priest of Oltiasika, Lemasusu and some other growing fellowships.

CMSIreland Director

Ronnie Briggs was instituted as Director of CMSIreland in December 2010 by Archbishop Alan Harper.

Working with Kajiado

Saint Nicholas' held a "Dance for Africa" to raise funds for the Mobile Clinic with which our parish family worked in the summer  of 2010 - the music was great.
The people of Lemasusu gather to bless the site of the new church in the main picture.
The lower right photograph is of a Confirmation service held in Saint Barnabas' Church, Oltiasika with Bishop Jeremiah and the Rev Naftaly Lemooke.

Climate Change - Naftaly and Gladys at home.

Rev Mary Kuria

Climate change

Large flower farms, like the one seen in the background here, dig deep bore holes and take water from the surrounding land.  Naftaly's land is now dry and unproductive ... so that the developed world can have roses!
