Love the Irish Setter, and of course, your dog! I see us on the beach! Love your photo of yourself. It is so welcoming and warm looking. You have my name on here as Cris - at least i think that must be me. It has been so cold here - what a winter! Not sure how to add this, so it may not get on.

Love all those pet paintings! My favorites are Berry (of course) and your latest 5 x 5--adorable!

Loved the picture of the sunny hand holding what looks like a bouquet of the land with trees. Reminded me of the Mary Oliver poem about arranging flowers that ends with the words, "fifteen minutes of music with nothing playing". Love, Chris

You and your art work are remarkably inspired and inspiring! After a career dedicated to guiding and inspiring your students toward realizing their creativity, how wonderful that now you can concentrate on your own!

Well, it worked that time, so . . .
Your shell necklace is gorgeous! And I love the flower in the upper right hand corner of your page. It not only makes me smile every time I see it, it makes me happy. It is December 1st and rainy here. Some of our leaves are still not picked up. A houseguest with dog left me some fleas, so I have been vacuuming my house daily for over a month. I am winning. No toxic chemicals for me! And so I am cleaning out all kinds of things and going often to the dump and the thrift shop, and it feels great! The shell necklace reminded me of Dillon Beach and that made me smile too. Think of you and Don often. Don't know why life has to be so hard sometimes. Sending you much love. Chris

I wrote a long comment and when I clicked ADD, it didn't go on but redirected me. I really don't know how to do it. I'll try again with this one but if it does not go through, I will send you an email. Chris

Seems we have a budding artist in our midst. Actually, Sally has already budded long ago. These are quite sensational and should go big time. Keep it up! I am so glad you finally have time to devote to youyr art.

Sally, I am so glad that I spoke to you in the airport last week. Your work is beautiful. I especially like your watercolors and how you let that medium take on its inherent quality. Sure wish I lived in your part of the country so I could take some lessons from you...also in beading.

FAns created using a variety of bead shapes and sizes, giving a vintage "look".
Elizabeth I necklace for fb.jpg
Made with vintage chaton stones, seed beads and Swarovski bicones.
Owl collar featuring a porcelain hand painted owl, a glass tiger eye, landscape jasper and vintage glass cabachons. The backing is ultrasuede.
Featuring a sterling silver antique piece, vintage mirrored glass cabachons, backed with ultrasuede. Adjustable size to wear with turtle neck or on bare flesh! Three dimensional and "flashy".
The carved mustang cabachon is tiger eye. The two oval cabs are also tiger eye, the round cabs are "coin" pearls. The backing is ultra suede. I have also used pearls, triangle beads and many seed beads.
"Free Form Peyote Stitch" was used to create this necklace with one lampwork glass shell and other natural shells with lots of beaded coral "fringe" and details. There are thousands of seed beads in this necklace!
Purple dragonfly bracelet
Bead embroidered bracelet with ultra suede backing.
Purple dragonfly bracelet.
Shell necklace focal point.
The focal shell was found at Conchas Dhinas beach in Puerto Vallarta. The hole was in it. I added fringe and lots of details around it.
Shell necklace detail.
Coral, shells and pearls are included in the details of the necklace.
