An unfortunate incident occured the day before The Saxman had to play and A and B selecton in Lockport New York. When being shown some Karate moves by his friends, (one who states to be a professional) Vernon was accidently hit in the mouth. Anywhere but the mouth for a saxplayer!
Vernon James was determined not to allow this strike from the devil to pervent him from playing however, his lip was swollen ten times the size. There was no feeling in his lip that continuously grew over night.
Vernon just Praised the Lord for this testimony of how the Lord will bring you through all adversities, how the Lord's will for you will be done at all times, how with God, all things are possible and lastly how other will know your are Christ by the fruit you exhibit.
The performance was Stellar. Vernon's testimony was awsome because GOD IS AWSOME!
As always, I was extremely happy to share the time with you and hear your performance once again! God has never let you down. I saw your lip swell up! It was unbelievable! It just kept growing all accross your face. Not only was it embarassing to be seen like that but not to be able to feel your way through the notes on the saxophone......unbelievable!
The testimony and than the performace, not just one but two songs! What more can be said! There is no stopping Brother Vernon James because Christ goes before him....making a way when there appears to be no way!
It was great to see all the people and respected pastors there. Ezra and Linda Scott and a number of musicians were in attendance. It was just a great time of fellowship! The scripture basis for Global Ministries was When I was hungry, your feed me etc. I will be in prayer for that Ministry and I will always give the Lord Praise for the works I see Him do in you that encourage me.
Easter is a busy time at the Broadway Market. Time can be said to fly when you are having fun and this year.....The Market has welcomed back "The Saxman" Vernon James who will be performing on stage with his Alto Saxophone. If you haven't had the opportunity to watch one of Vernon's performances, you will be pleasantly entertained while you shop, eat or just take in the atmosphere of the Broadway Market. Good weather and a song in the air as Vernon James takes control of the streets once again early this year! His career is on the rise as he is already booked for weddings, and performances at the Broadway Market, Vinney's and the Hard Rock Cafe. He is looking forward to the International Busker's Festivals in St. Catharines, August 12-14, as well as the Scotial BuskerFest Toronto, in support of Epilepsy August 25 - 28 at the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood.

It is going to be a great summer for saxophonist Vernon James. Opening Night was Friday but it wasn't until Saturday when the weather was just right for dinner at Hard Rock on the Patio with Vernon James.
What was suppose to be a four hour performance became a complete evening with the Saxman while he serenaded customers who were having birthdays and a couple who was just engaged!
The Saxman has added a number of new songs and requests to his already extensive repretoire. Customers were taken away when a tour bus stopped and opened its doors for the Saxman to enter the bus and play to the patrons on the bus......A DEFINITE SHOW STOPPER! As a large crowd gathered to see and hear him play also in the street, the patio was filled and everyone hard a great evening which endied in a rightfully deserved STANDING OVATION!
The season just started and I am having a great time performing at the Hard Rock. The have been so many moments already that just bring joy to my heart. The comments that passers by are making and the large crowds that gather to hear my music is beyond words.
There have be occasions where customers would sing on stage and even dance! Check out the footage of these courageous people because they really have talent. I appreciate everyone who comes out and participates because there really is hidden talent in everyone!

I was glad to see and hear you perfoming at the Hard Rock this year. As you know...I am your biggest fan! Unfortunately, I didn't make opening day but.....Saturday was great! The weather was good, the crowd was good and your new songs were awesome.
Although people were saying that is was the end of the world. There was no better place to be than with the SAXMAN! The crowd went wild when you got on that bus! After that.....there was no stopping you! Your performance was stellar and the karaoke singer helped to close off the evening.
Happy Birthday to the two young ladies that night and God Bless your marriage to Dave and Denise. Congratulations! It was just great to see you and a wonderful night that I thank you for allowing me to enjoy!

A beautiful day for a wonderful couple. Congratulations to the Grand Daughter and Son-In-Law of Harry Rabbi, a true friend of Vernon James.
The guests had fun dancing and singing along with the Anointed Sounds of the SAXMAN while enjoying a mouth watering dinner followed by ice cream and cake.
Vernon dedicated a serenade to the married couple "She Believes In Me" and "I'LL Be There" which followed by a loud applause and appreciation from the married couple.
Besides stopping to take pictures with the Saxman, Harry his wife introduced a number of friends to his family from North Carolina as well as a number of special friends. It was just a wonderful night of laughs and fun and love. A special note of thanks to Bill who was on best behaviour as instructed by his beautiful wife!

What a great celebrarion and the house of Mr. and Mrs. Searcy. The family welcomed everyone to celebrate the graduation party for their daugher (Breezy). You couldn't miss the house with all the cars parked outside and the huge banner with its brillant colours, crafted with excellence and love especially for this occasion. What a display of love and support!
