The last time I got to take pictures of these 2 cuties was about 2 years ago, just before Christmas. I'm so glad to see them again--they made my job so easy. They were a bundle of fun and easy posers ;) Go see the pictures on the Munchkin page.
This was my favorite shot of the day--just because they look sweet, innocent, & ornery, all tied up in a bow LOL
Let me know what you think!
I took new pictures of my kids this morning. I'm only posting my favorites--trying to save some time LOL They are on the top of the Munchkin page.
Enjoy!
I was asked by their daughter-in-law if I would come take pictures for their event and was more than happy to do it. Pay attention and you'll notice--I took the pictures of the daughter-in-laws family a little while back. The 'bride & groom' are my 2nd cousins (I think I got that right). I was glad I went. I seen some relatives I hadn't seen for awhile, my 2nd grade teacher, and my high school librarian LOL A good time was had by all.
I chose this shot of the day because I like the the focus was more on their hands cutting the cake again 50 years later.
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Hill on 50 years together!
I am entering a photo contest so I invited my Grandmother and Great-Grandmother down to join Mom, Amber, & Me to take a picture of 5 generations of women. It's not very common to have all 5 so I thought it would make a unique photo opp. The picture on the right is my favorite of the day. Let me know what you think!
Enjoy!
One of my favorite little guys. My cousin brought him out for a session at my house. He brought his new 3-wheeler to show me LOL I love taking pictures of the same kids over and over. For 1 I get to see them grow, but for another I get to see their personality. I discovered he likes to play with kitchens. Who knew? Maybe he'll get his own show one day. Typical boy, he wants to play, laugh, and of course have Mommy hold him.
Thanks for bringing him out! I had a great time! & I only posted 51--seriously, I think I'm getting better at this LOL
Enjoy!
This is some relation on my Mom's side. What a big family and sweet as could be :o)
They wanted family pictures and some individuals--we also put all the girls together & all the boys. I had a lot of fun. And the baby--she's my new mission--I'm determined I will get a picture of that baby smiling all by herself one of these days.
And I know my shot of the day is sad but I also thought it was so precious.
Enjoy!
This was the first time I've even gotten to take pictures of twins. And these 2 had a rough start. 9 weeks early. In the NICU in Springfield. 3 pounds, 8 ounces. And completely amazing.
I love to take pictures of babies. I have never (thank goodness) been in a NICU--for anyone that doesn't know--it's ICU for babies. I have a lot, *A LOT* of respect for the doctors and nurses that are in there every day, because I know I couldn't do that. I've never taken pictures when time literally stood still. I thought I'd been there 20 minutes--I was there over an hour. It's hard to appreciate just how small these two are in pictures, but I hope you can see just the miracle of God and medical advances. Please say a prayer, not just for these babies, but for all babies in NICU's. I was amazed and sad, all at the same time. For the struggle they are fighting and in some cases winning.
Thank you to Nichole for the honor of taking their pictures--I can't wait to do it again when they get to come home.
Ok technically *they* aren't my neighbors. But their Mom (Tara) was, and their Grandma currently is. I made the 'shot of the day' because Tara requested close up pictures & also disclosed she's likes black & white photos. I thought it turned out nice--let me know what you think. If you want to see the rest, check out the Munchkins page. I've had issues with Shutterfly lately getting things to upload or these would have been posted sooner. I had a great time with this session. The girls are very sweet and perfect posers. Kevin is 4 & a boy--so he took a bit to warm up but once we did, it got really fun LOL I almost made a composite of 'the many faces of Kevin'! (I only didn't because I figured Mom would have a hard enough time picking pictures the way it was)
Enjoy!
I'm a little behind. On the Seniors Page, I have a new Senior. I've known Noah his whole life, it was a pleasure taking his pictures. We won't discuss the fact it makes me feel old.
I've added a new page called Events. I was asked to take pictures at a 50th anniversary party and those are posted there. It was a lot of fun. I don't think I drove too many people crazy snapping pics but I did bug one lady. She was due 2 days after the party and she just looked so pretty. I couldn't resist!
Well it started out because Mom wanted pictures of the kids in some bibs in the sunflower field about a mile from my house. Then Mom said she wanted a picture of her to post on Facebook. Then I suggested including Dad so she could have some new shots with her grandkids. (The last one doesn't even have Kendal--he was in utero at the time LOL)
So head to the munchkins page. I added the shots to Amber & Kendal's section.
I just uploaded a new album on the Munchkins page under the Lucrisha & Jadelynn album. She was a very sweet baby and I'm glad I got some very precious pictures of her. She's sleeping in a lot of them but hey, she's 2 weeks old--I'd rather have that than screaming baby shots. Which I did get some of those too LOL
Grandma wanted pictures with all the cousins together so there are a few of those in there too. I also made and announcement for them which I'm very proud of how it turned out. I also posted my favorite shot on the right.
So go peruse the pictures and post a comment. Better or worse than my last pictures? I was using a different camera than usual so that's why the lighting was a little different in some. But let me know what you think!
I had the pleasure of meeting Heather & Jeff on Saturday to shoot some family pictures for them. In truth I went to school with both of them. They are getting married in October so we did a few with just the two of them but we might need to do some more so they can have something for the newspaper. (I really hate it when I forget things!) But more than anything she wanted family pictures with the groom to be and her daughters--both very sweet girls.
I posted my favorite shot from that session to the right in my 'Shot of the Day' section. I woke up with the idea of literally tying the knot rather than the old standard shot of their hands to show the ring. I tied it, gave it to them, and it was literally a fluke that the knot formed a heart. We noticed it when we checked the play back. How awesome is that?! LOL I posted the black & white version (I'm a dork, I love black and white) but you can see the color version in the album. They are at the top of the list on the Bunches page.
Let me know what you think of the shots. I'm still getting my bearings with outdoor shots but feedback is what helps me get better so post comments!
I have a new page on my site called Fun. I had to add a new page because Brittany didn't fall into any other category! She's 11 and wants to be a model. So as a reward for making Honor Roll (Yea Brittany!) I got to take pictures of her.
She is a very pretty young girl and was a natural model. I had a blast and I'm pretty sure she did too! Enjoy!
Yesterday was just beautiful. My Mom and I took my kids out on a paddle boad Mom got last year. We went to Ramsey Lake and took a ride on the north half of the lake. We seen a lot of geese, even some babies, and a crane. I lost count of turtles. I didn't get as many pictures of them--little bastards kept jumping in before I could get a picture! LOL Anyway, since they aren't a 'session' click on my candid link on the right to go to http://pease2001.shutterfly.com and see the pictures of our first paddle boat trip. We're planning on going next week too so hopefully I'll have more next week :o)
I uploaded the pictures of my munckins yesterday but I didn't have time to post a note. So, I figured I'd better catch up.
I didn't have much luck with both of them in one shot--only 1 good one. But hey I did it all by myself so cut me some slack
Kendal would only sit for short periods of time--as usual. If it isn't his idea to take pictures he wants no part of it LOL
Amber did very well on the other hand. She sat for me and I only had to tell her to quit posing once. (Maybe twice) But I got some good shots which is what I was after. So head to the munckin page and enjoy!
Happy New Year! ![]()
Ok I'll get on with it now. I have had several sessions in the last month and hadn't gotten them uploaded--I apologize to both Eddy families--the holidays really had me running. So those will be posted this weekend I promise! I'm still uploading them now but I'll post them as soon as they are uploaded to the site.
I have rearranged the site. Munchkins are all the baby or children sessions I have done. I've done 3 Eddy family sessions so I decided to put all the little ones on a page and you can scroll down to find your family. I'll try to keep the newest ones on top but I can't promise anything.
Bunches are all the family sessions I've done. I had the pleasure of meeting the Michel family on New Years Day and had a ball! The one boy got the giggles and I couldn't hold the camera still for laughing with him. (We had fun with it though didn't we Alex?
) The Grandmother just built a new home (within the last year I believe) and it was just beautiful. They let me walk through the house and I had to take a few shots of the chandeliers she has. Just gorgeous! Oh and the little girl--not related therefore not in the group pictures--they let me take some of her sleeping. Thank you for that--a sleeping baby (or 3 year old) is the sweetest picture. Thank you for inviting me to take pictures and the tour.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!
Leslie
It took me a week but I finally got all Steph's senior pictures edited and uploaded. Beautiful young woman and full of smiles. We had a blast taking her pictures. It was my first time taking Senior pictures but I don't think we did bad. My brother is the one that was actually asked but he let me come play too. So glad--it was a lot of fun. Check out the 'Leigh' page to see those. Post comments and let me know what you think!
I also added new 2 month pictures of Malakai Eddy. Sorry it took so long. I swore I already had them uploaded but I was wrong!
I had my first outdoor session with my new camera. It was beautiful--see the new Wattles page. What a blast! Joel was constantly on the move but he was also very good. I think it helped that he was in a place he knew.
Anyway, hope you enjoy them. Post your comments and let me know what you think! Also, if you make yourself a member of my page, you'll get an email when the page updates.
This has been a busy weekend and yet we really didn't do a whole lot. But Friday I got to take pictures of baby Lucas (see Carpenter page) and Saturday morning I took pictures of Malakai (Eddy page). Both did very well--it was fun. They're babies, you have to give them some time to snuggle with Mom for a bit. It's hard work being so cute you know ![]()
So go check out the new pictures I've got posted and let me know what you think. (I can't get better if I don't know where I can improve)
