The PreK classroom will be enjoying an outdoor field trip to the Rhodes Family Farms. All children under 40 pounds must be in a car seat for the center to transport them. Parents are encouraged to come, but due to limited bus space, parents will have to provide their own transportation. We will be having a sack picnic lunch before returning to the center.

We will have our annual Fall Parade at the park across from the center. This is a center-wide activity. Children are encouraged to bring their costumes and will dress in them before parading around the park. The classrooms fall parties will follow the parade. Parent are welcome to help dress the children, walk in our parade, or stand as an observer for all the children to wave at. Picture taking is encouraged. Contributions to the parties must be store bought and age appropriate. We encourage healthy snacks if food is involved. Ask your child's teacher for more details.

Career Day is the theme for the day as we celebrate Week of the Young Child. Help your child pick a job that they think they may want to do when they grow up and dress the part. Borrow clothes from someone, add some accessories, and dress the part of an adult in the work world.
Be sure to stop by our Scholastic Book Fair set up in the entry way. We appreciate your support in our effort to expand literacy by helping get more books into the children's homes and our classrooms.
D.E.A.R. Day -Drop Everything and Read

Help your child pick out their favorite book and have them bring it to class. Please put their name in it. They will be sharing their book with their friends throughout the day.
