Puppy Play Day
Jake had a puppy play day with my roommate's sister's new puppy! And wow that's a mouthfull! Anyways, he had a puppy play day with Cassie, an American Bulldog puppy, who at the time was around 11wks old and 20lbs! The day went very well overall! I was a bit worried beforehand since Jake has only met one other puppy before but it went fine. I don't think he really realized that Cassie was a puppy since she was a bit bigger than the puppy he had met before and he played a bit rough but she took it like a champ and definitely held her own against him. The next time they meet she'll probably be larger than him (seeing as Jake's only 36lbs) and Jake won't know what to do!
The fact that Jake has been doing really well with meeting puppies is very reassuring to me, as I hope to someday get another dog! Well, I think that I will but am still on the fence about it. I think that it would be really good for Jake but I'm not sure how well I will be able to divide my attention between Jake and another dog. But that's besides the point right now, it's just nice to know that if I wanted to, I could get a younger dog and Jake would do fairly well with it!
I guess that's all for now. Sorry I haven't been doing a good job keeping up with photo-journals. There hasn't been much going on!
Here goes...
Alright, here goes. I can do this. Well. Maybe. We'll see. I am not a writer. At. All. I like to take photos instead. I thought that I might consider writing some journal entries about the pictures I upload, i.e. what I was trying to accomplish when taking the pictures, what I was doing, etc. Nothing too serious. I am a complete amateur photographer and most of the time I have no idea what I'm doing! I'm currently trying to learn more about my camera. I've had it for four years but never took the time to experiment too much. Now I am! I'm also going to experiment with different filters too. At least I will once I have the money to buy them, but that's a whole different story!
That's all for now. I'm experimenting with the site and haven't added many photos just yet.
