SCOTT JOPLIN LIVED HERE!

We visited the house in St. Louis where Scott Joplin lived and where he composed some of his great ragtime piano pieces. The house is a state historical site, and offers many interesting exhibits. Bill played "The Maple Leaf Rag" on the piano, and then we played a piano roll of "Weeping Willow". Afterward, we toured the Gateway of the West Arch in downtown St. Louis.
