The openwork beads, wire etc are 925 sterling silver. The decorative ear hooks are Hill Tribes Silver which contain more pure silver than 925 silver. They are made by hand by members of tribes living in remote areas in the mountains of Thailand, hence the name.

Both snake chain and bale are sterling silver. Fused glass pendant is fashioned from a large piece of beach glass. The glass melted transparent soft blue on the surface, however internally it retained some translucent "hint of blue" beach glass chracteristics. Working with different types of glass in the kiln is always an adventure.

Glass pendant was fused in my kiln. Chain is rhodium plated sterling silver. Rhodium is a material similar to platinum which is applied over the silver very thinly. The advantage: no polishing needed. However, there is a slightly darker sheen to the silver which is accentuated by a photograph. The chain is marked 925 sterling.
