June 12th: The Wars of 1812 and Nicholas Lemme perform at this year's "Black Dog Benefit"
Friday June 12th the Wars of 1812 and Nick Lemme of Spaghetti Western String Co. will be playing to benefit St. Francis–St. James United School’. The school serves K-8 students in St. Paul’s West 7th community and employs Lemme, Peter Pisano (The Wars of 1812) and Jeremey Catterton (Artistic Director of Lamb Lays with Lion Theatre Co.). All proceeds will fund the school’s Elective Arts Program; exposing students to additional instructional in music composition, digital photography, and theatre performance. For ticketing information please contact the school's front office at (651) 228-1167. Seating is limited, reservation are strongly encouraged.

The kids can look at this sight and feel proud of their many efforts. You have provided them with an opportunity that they will never forget. Thank you for the, no doubt, countless hours you put into this class/project. We don't seem to get tired of watching the video. What a hoot.

Thank you for all your hardwork. It is incredible that our kids have these opportunities at this age. For them to experience accomplishing something great and have such fun doing it will help to keep them interested in education and keep them setting their sights high.
