We are one of the 3 College of Education Clubs at the USF Sarasota-Manatee Campus. Our purpose is to promote, encourage, and support sense-making in mathematics among our members and our extended community! Last year our hard work paid off and we officially became the only student organization in the state of Florida to have a national affiliation with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics!
Congrats Graduates!!
Congratulations to all of our Club and USF Graduates! We are so proud of all of you!
NCTM Conference Update
We are back from this years fabulous NCTM conference in Denver, CO! While there we had the opportunity to meet many teachers, professors, researchers, field professionals and children's math literature authors such as Cindy Neuschwander, Marilyn Burns, and Stuart Murphy! During our many hands-on workshops we gathered a plethora of of idea, strategies, lessons, games, and other activities that are Common Core aligned. Those materials that can be shared (no copy right issues) will be added to our database. Also, please look for our upcoming NCTM workshop this fall where many of the activities and strategies will be shared!
Math is as easy as Pi!
