Taste of Hope Mission Trip Needs

Heidi from Taste of Hope is leaving Saturday for a trip to Ethiopia.  She has some practical needs that we've listed below.  Feel free to contact Katie Davis if you'd like to donate some of these items.  Katie will be driving down to Santa Barbara to see Heidi off, and she can take anything you donate with her.

- Clothes for children ages 1-14 years old. (These can be used of course.)

- Donations for the purchase of t-shirts for 90 orphans, with our mission scripture on it. We are trying to raise at least $700.

- Plastic beach balls or any plastic balls of different shapes that can be blown up with air.

- Musical instruments for children. They must be able to be packed in our suitcases.

- Donations to purchase food supplies for the blind school, lunch for 120 people.

- Braille books

- Play dough

- Donations to purchase clothing for needy young adults.

- Non perishable snacks.

Brannum Family

1.  There are teams to do laundry twice a week for the family.  There will be teams to take laundry and wash it, and teams to fold and put away.  If you would like to help with this, contact Angela Alton at 805-801-4498 or aalton@lmusd.org

2.  There are teams to clean the house each week.  If you are interested in joining a team or you know a few people that could make up a team, please contact Laurene Lee at 805-550-5406 or laurenemlee@gmail.com

3.  The Brannums desperately need financial help.  If you would like to donate money, you can do so through New Life Community Church.  You can mail a check to 990 James Way, Pismo Beach, Ca 93449.  Please make a note in the memo line that the money is for the Brannum family.  All donations are tax deductible.

4.  Gift cards for the family.  Any grocery card from any store in the area would be helpful as they don't spoil in the refrigerator.  Also any gift cards to movie or coffee or clothing stores would provide some fun for the family.  If you would like some more specific ideas for gifts, you can call or email Laurene Lee at 805-550-5406 or laurenemlee@gmail.com.
