Each third grader will bring home an agenda book. Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday. Inside the agenda book will be the homework assignment. Each night after your child has completed the homework, check to see that it was done accurately and sign the book for that night. Students are expected to read every night as part of their homework. Signing the book means your child had read for that night. Study and review of daily lessons are an integral part of homework.
A weekly report with graded work attached will be sent home each Friday. A conduct grade for the week is also included in the folder. Please look over the work, sign and return the folder on Monday or the following school day. You will also receive a monthly newsletter informing you of upcoming important dates and the Academic Knowledge and Skills for each curriculum area that will be taught for the month.
