We had a low key day today. We had several play sessions out in the yard, including one LONG zooming session, but otherwise were low key.
Melinda helped me do Mocha's nails again - not so much because they needed doing, but to get her used to the process. Melinda fed her good treats to help her get positive associations with having her nails trimmed. She was much better than in previous sessions.
We played several kinds of retrieving games both indoors and out, and by the end of the day, Mocha was a tired puppy, with both ears at half mast.
It's hard to believe that tomorrow our two weeks together are over and she goes back to Karen and her "pack". But we get to have one more adventure before that happens - more tracking and another friend and her dogs to meet.
Mocha is so good about her food - she's not protective of it at all, but she does pick out the "good parts" first, and toss a few crumbs around on the floor before she decides to eat them.
