We give a written 26 month guarantee against  genetic severe hip dysplasia. If you find your Labrador to have genetic severe hip dysplasia we will refund you $500.00 to put toward surgery for your dog.

We do not ask you to return your dog to us because we know how much you love them.

We also give a written 1 year guarantee against life altering genetic defects.

Hi my name is Cheryl Flynn. We are a family based breeder of  beautiful Silver, Charcoal, Champagne, Yellow and White  Labradors located in Ostrander Ohio. (Central Ohio) We occasionally have Chocolate and Black puppies too that are silver factored. We will have Red Fox puppies in early 2013!
 
We are devoted to producing sound quality pups, paying close attention to bloodlines, health and temperament. 
Our puppies are of the highest quality and make great companions, wonderful rescue /therapy dogs and excellent family members!  All Labradors will retrieve but I stay away from the driven hunting lines so you will have a calm house dog. We are working to put the boxy English head into our Silver Lines. Check out Diesel on our puppy page!

Silver Labrador have been around for only 25 years. Currently many silver breeders are in what we call the Improvement Movement! The best way to improve the dilute (silver, charcoal and champagne) lines is to put the standard colors (yellow, chocolate or black) into them and to do all the health testing. Our studs Griffin and Sammy have one chocolate parent (silver factored of course) and Dexter had two Silver Factored parents! All of our studs will bring great improvement to the silver lines. Champagnes have only been around now for about 10 years or less. Finding an improved Champagne is a tall order. I am proud to say our very own Cassidy already has nice improvements in her pedigree. When we pair her with our Silver Factored Light Yellow stud Griffin the Champagnes we produce will be very nice! They will even be able to produce the very rare black nosed champagne. Charcoals have been around longer than the Silvers and don't need as much improvement because they started from some really nice breeding stock. You will see most charcoals out there are consistent in their looks already. We have added a beautiful Charcoal from Virginia. Her name is Harlee. We will also be bringing Lacey's lines into our Dilute lines in 2012 with her beautiful son Canyon. We will be keeping a Silver Factored White male from that pairing!

 
Our Labradors are AKC registered and 100% Labrador. Our dogs are Pennhip (hips & joint) certified. In addition they also have CERF (eye) certification clearance. We have also DNA tested them for EIC, DM and CNM. We will be doing PRA testing in 2012. (eye) They are current on all their shot and take heartworm preventative medicine. We feed high quality 4Health from tractor supply to our older dogs. The puppies are on Blue Buffalo Puppy because it's easier for you find. We offer a 1 year written genetic health guarantee along with a 26 month written health guarantee on severe hip dysplasia. Our dogs are part of our family, we are currently remodeling our garage into a family room for them now that we have moved to 5 acres with a pond! We do not kennel our dogs. We love each and every one of them. Yeah, they are spoiled but I wouldn't have it any other way! They have also all been to obedience school.

On this home page you will also find picture of our other two dogs. Bandit a Boxer-pit mix (a rescue) born in 2002 and Jersey a weimaramer born in 2004. Both were fixed as puppies and are not part our breeding program.

We currently own 4 breeding females Labradors. Rory & Willow are our silver Labradors. Lacey is our white Lab, Cassidy our Champagne.

We have 3 up and coming Girls Riley is a silver factored Red Fox, Harlee our Charcoal and Tawny is another silver. Riley was born 5-13-11 and is an American Labrador. Harlee was born 12-5-11. She is improved as she has one SF parent and carries champagne! Tawny was born 1-7-12. She also carries champagne.

We also co-own 4 studs. Our two silver Labrador studs are  Sammy and Dexter. We also have our Silver Factored Light Yellow Labrador stud named Griffin. This is a unique situation as Sammy, Dexter and Griffin live with their own family as their pet yet they are available to us for breeding.  Canyon is our white stud, who is Lacey's son. Canyon also lives in a pet home. We are only breeding back to Canyon one time in 2012.

Griffin carries every color which means he can produce, Yellow, Chocolate, Black, Silver Factored Yellow, Silver Factored Chocolate, Silver Factored Black, Champagne, Silver and Charcoal depending on who we breed him to!

Great improvements are heading our way in 2012. I have purchased a beautiful English fox red stud for Riley. He was born 12-9-11 and will be called Finn. We have a deposit down on and English white stud for Lacey. He will be living with my sister!
