Description

Beautiful lake frontage on Skaneateles Lake, Slate Cove has over 120' of prime, flat beach. The cove is very quiet with only 2 neighbors sharing our driveway. The Finger Lakes were recently rated as the #1 fresh-water destination for vacationers in the world!

Slate Cove Cottage was built 100 years ago by my great-grandfather! It remains in it's original camp-style design inside and has period-style farm furniture to enhance the "return to basics" theme.

If you are looking for an authentic family summer camp experience, Slate Cove Cottage will deliver. Mind you, the cottage is also home to a host of spiders and the occasional field mouse will wander in. If you can share space with a small slice of nature, this is the place for you!

Four bedrooms can comfortably sleep 8. Modern kitchen and bath with most amenities make it easy to share space with extended family. For hot nights there are fans in all the rooms — and the lake promises to cool you off if you take a before-bed swim.

This is a family-friendly cove, with neighbors who need quiet after 11pm. If you enjoy campfires, the beautiful water-side view and the incredible peace and calm that comes with a Skaneateles Lake vacation, try Slate Cove. great for artists, poets and tree fort lovers.
