Shattered glass has punctuated crises and transformations through
history and across cultures from Kristallnacht to the Watts Riots.
The breaking of a glass at the conclusion of the Jewish wedding
ceremony has many interpretations. In this installation, viewers are
invited to make a silent vow and seal it with a stomp.
