DIY Testimonials

This page tells all about brides who have put their own invitations together along with the money they have saved by not only assembling themselves, but by using Sorobor Smiles!

"DIYers" Tell All

I hope this will be a great tool and insight for future brides as they explore their invitation options.  You are on the right track to saving money by using Sorboro Smiles and if you choose to assemble yourself...you will be pleasantly surprised at the additional savings.  I have highlighted a few of my brides experiences assembling and what they saved.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING TO ASSEMBLE...we provide all the tools from tape guns, tape, a layering tool (so that you do not have to eyeball every layer), ribbon, hole punch, etc. Most of my brides are ready to order their own tape gun when they are finished...they end up loving it!  Just keep an eye out when shopping and comparing prices...you may have to purchase or pay a rental fee for assemly tools with other vendors.  WE SUPPLY EVERYTHING ALONG WITH AN ASSEMBLY LESSON WHEN YOU PICK UP YOUR INVITATIONS.

As mentioned on the home page...gather all your friends and have a great time...but keep the wine far away from the invitations until they are out of the way. Smiling

"When Mindy first mentioned to me that I could assemble my invitations myself...I told her, "no way". Then she told me how much I would save by doing them myself, and I had to tackle it. I called one of my best friends who is extremely crafty and asked her for her help. We got an assembly process going and decided we would spread the work out over a few nights and in about a week, we were done...it was a lot easier than I thought it would be...my invitations still looked really professional and I had money left over from my savings to put elsewhere for the wedding. I wouldn't change anything, we had a good time putting my invitations together as well as my programs and I saved a lot of money!"

Angel chose a box invitation and saved right at $5 an invitation by assembling herself and saved close to a total of $500 by assembling herself.  In addition to saving money by the DIY option, she initially saved about $5 per invitation by using Sorboro Smiles vs. area vendors.  Bringing her total savings to about $10 per invitation...and yet, she was still able to get exactly what she wanted.

She chose a single panel program that was layered with ribbon thread though in the same manner as her invitation.  She saved $1.00 per program by assembling herself...a total savings of $100.

She had coordinating reserved table tent cards, candy apple cards, and advice station cards.

Her total savings by using Sorboro Smiles and choosing to assemble herself: Approximately $1,100!!
