Ø  3.28.13 Mrs. Spence reported on computer situation. She requested that we hold off at this time on purchasing any desktop computers and we instead begin purchasing laptops.  PTO is going to figure out after the spring fundraiser how much money we can give the school to purchase laptops. 

Old Business:                

Ø  Debbie will look into Spring Fundraiser with Nature’s Vision.  Mrs. Spence to check on any overlap of other fundraiser in the corporation to decide on what dates to do, if any. 2.14.13 We have not heard anything from Mrs. Spence to date regarding overlapping fundraisers.  We reviewed Nature’s Vision’s brochure.  We liked the concept, but they do not help as much as KJS with the prep and delivery.  Alison is going to contact KJS and see if they have an opening for us for spring and we will review their brochure.  We want something a bit simpler due to planning Field Day.  3.28.13 KJS kickoff is 3.29.13 – orders will be sue on 4.8.13 – money count will be on 4.10.13.  4.10.13 counted money and will submit on Friday.  Orders should be in before Mother’s Day.  5.13.13 Profit $3,666.04

Ø  Field Day will be 5.21.13.  We will purchase bottled water instead of using water coolers.  We need to look into alternatives for a space, since the football field will not be an option.  Sunshine is going to contact Youth Football League coach to help build an obstacle course.  We are going to schedule a separate meeting to specifically discuss Field Day.  4.10.13 We are going to have to use the elementary playground behind the building and the baseball field for field day since Football field is getting worked on.  Each PTO member is to purchase 5 cases of water and bring to May meeting.  Debbie is to order sticker ribbons.  Field Day meeting at Sunshine’s on April 19^th 6pm.  5.13.13 Finalized details for field day – will meet at school @ 7:30am morning of field day.

New Business:               

Ø  Sunshine will complete 990N and submit to IRS before leaving her duties.

Ø  Market Day profit from August thru April is $1,195.00.

Ø  Box Tops – There were several issues this year with box top bundling.  At the beginning of next school year will give teachers baggies and envelopes with clear instructions.

Ø  Tiffany will talk to Mrs. Spence about filling Teacher Rep spot for next year.
