Introducing John Chamberlain

This short video shows how I connect young students to the installation art of John Chamberlain. This tour was part of a six week teaching artist-in-residence program through Dia:Beacon.

This is a series of three short shorts about the simplicity of small movements. It asks "Is there art in people watching?"

HandSpeak Film

HandSpeak is about the beauty of our non-verbal communication. It was an experiment with low quality digital video using a camera that took 30 second videos without sound. Here, the camera on a diner table became the unknown viewer, while the hands of three people "conversed".

Art21 Educators Program

Art21 Educators is an intensive, year-long professional development initiative and learning community designed to support K–12 Visual Art and other teachers interested in bringing contemporary art, artists, and themes into their classrooms. I was selected in 2008-2009 as one of the first 15 educators from the United States to take part in their pilot program.

Photos Enclosed: NYC Collaborative Mail Art Book

"Photos Enclosed" is a collaborative mail art project that I began in 2004 in Oakland, CA. This book is the second mail art project in this series and features mail art made using my photography of New York City taken in 2009.
