Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful winter break. It is time to register your child for the upcoming 2013/2014 school year. Registration materials for currently enrolled students will be available beginning January 14. To secure your child's placement in our program for the fall, return your forms no later than January 18.
There will be an OPEN HOUSE, on January 23 from 9:30 to 11:00. Anyone from the community is invited to come tour our facilities and fill out registration forms.
St. Aidan's has a busy month of thanksgiving with much going on. We have once again partnered with Children's Restoration Network for our annual food drive. Please bring a bag full of food items by Monday, November 12. All food will directly go to feed over 2,800 homelss women and children.
Our Thanksgiving feast is on Thursday, November 15. We need an accurate headcount, so please return your RSVP with the number of guests attending the feast, along with what dishes you plan to bring. This has become a very cherished tradition at the preschool, that you won't want to miss.
Finally, the preschool will be closed November 19-23 for Thanksgiving Break.
Dear Parents,
Psalm 127:3 states that “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” As the Preschool Director of this school, I welcome all of you to St. Aidan’s Episcopal Preschool/MMO. As a former preschool teacher, an educator and a mother of 4, I understand the role of a positive early childhood education. Toddlers and preschoolers use all aspects of their environment for learning. Parents are an integral part of the early childhood education process. My goal for your child is to incorporate home and school as part of every day learning experiences. Children who feel good about themselves, their surroundings, and experiences will become active, happy learners.
With God’s guidance, my staff and I pledge to provide a high level of education where self-expression, acceptance, and love are an essential aspect of daily routines. Through play and hands-on activities, your child will have fun learning about himself/herself, as well as, being an important member of our school. I look forward to partnering with you, along your child’s spiritual and academic journey.
In His Service,
Jill Orban
Director
