Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. Quite a surprise when a friend told us there was a place close to Winston to hike. For those who aren't familiar with the area's topography, it's fairly flat and definately no visible mountains. After driving about 20 minutes, a random peak started shaping up at the horizon. As you can see from the pictures, it was actually pretty high up there. We had a great day exploring and Taylor enjoyed a modest hike on our backs.

Tim and I eventually switched piggybacking Taylor. He couldn't really see much over Tim's broad shoulders. I hadn't thought about that when I purchased this carrier. Since both Tim and I have tender backs to begin with, it was still pretty easy for both of us, so definately worth the investment.
