Welcome

Thank you for visiting our preschool site. We hope that the information you find here will be helpful to those who are already cooperative parents, but also to those looking for a preschool for the 3-5 year old child.
A cooperative preschool is one that focuses on learning concepts and skills through play-based, hands on activities. Please see our Philosophy section for more details on how our preschool is different from public and other private preschools available in our area.

Southwest Co-operative Preschool is fully licensed by the State of Michigan, and meets all requirements for Child Care regulations.

For tuition information please click on the "About Us" box above. For members of this site click on "More" and then "About Us" for the information.

At Southwest Cooperative Preschool we believe that young children learn through play. Materials and opportunities are provided for children to build, create, experiment, explore, socialize and imitate.

We believe the parent is an integral part of a young child's development, therefore, the parent's involvement in the preschool is an essential part of our program.

Our Goal is to give our children positive self-esteem, begin to broaden their world, and encourage their natural curiosity.

We also provide ourselves with positive self-esteem as parents and strengthen the family unit as we also begin to "let go" of our children.

Southwest Cooperative Preschool Inc. does not discriminate and admits students and members of any race, color, creed, ethnic origin, religion, gender, disability, or handicap. Southwest Cooperative Preschool, Inc. is a non-profit, member operated non-sectarian preschool.
