The Dirty Details

First, to begin your cake I will require a non-refundable deposit at half of the cake's total. If you would like a $60 cake, I will need $30 to begin it. I will gladly take cash, check, or paypal for this deposit. If your deposit does not clear, I will not begin your cake. If I make the cake and you are unable to pay the remaining balance , I keep the cake and the deposit.

On pickup of the cake, I will require the remaining balance of the cake, paid in full, cash only please.

Things to keep in mind when ordering

PLEASE give me at least two weeks notice to shop for and build your cake. All cakes are CUSTOM made. I shop for the items for your cake once I receive your deposit. I do not keep a stockpile of items as every cake is different.

If there is a theme or certain colors you have in mind please let me know. Many people choose the theme of the baby shower or nursery as cake decor. Does your mom to be have a registry that can give us ideas for the decoration and items to be used in the cake?

Please let me know of any specific items that are MUST HAVES for your cake. Once built, it's hard to go back and add. I am more than happy to add any items you may have yourself, but please keep in mind that only certain things will work. Just let me know and I'll see what I can do!

I am open to you coming to pick up your cake at my home or meeting you in Peoria at a mutual location. I have shipped my cakes, but would not be able to get a price on that till the cake is finished, boxed up and ready to go. I'm not looking to make profit on shipping, you pay what I pay.

Make a game of it!

Place your diaper cake in the middle of a table. Allow your guests to look at it for a few minutes. Then ask them to write down everything they saw on the cake: baby items, colors, words, ect. Winner gets a prize and you've proven yourself a creative host!
