TRYOUT INFORMATION
The open tryout season is quickly approaching. SYA Cardinals ’00 Red is one of most premier teams in Region I. The training environment places an emphasis on player development through tactical and technical instruction. Additional focus is generated toward the development of strong character, enduring work ethic, and sportsmanship. The team is coached by Christian Cziommer; he holds an A license from the German Soccer Federation and UEFA.
Tryouts will be held during the following times for the rising SYA U12 Girls; however It is very important that you check back frequently as there might be changes in the schedule or field as the dates approach.
• Fri., June 1, 6:30 pm – 8 pm, SYA Sports Park, Field #4
• Tues., June 5, 5 pm - 6:30 pm, SYA Sports Park, Field #4
• Thur., June 7, 6:30 pm – 8 pm, SYA Sports Park, Field #2

Reminder, as with all annual tryouts, each player is required to be registered for Tryouts (there is no fee for tryouts) using the following link:

Players may be individually invited to a regular training session to allow coaches to assess a player in a standard training environment.

The SYA CARDINALS '00G RED are a U11 team based in the Centreville/Clifton, VA area, trained/coached by Christian Cziommer.
Starting with the Fall 2011 season:
The SYA CARDINALS '00G RED / FCV '00 will represent FC Virginia, the local Elite Program competing on the National Level.
Also the SYA CARDINALS '00G RED / FCV '00 will compete in the recently formed VCCL, a Virginia wide league that includes the best clubs in the state.
SYA CARDINALS Academy training is held every Tuesday. Individual team training is held on Thursday and Friday. Feel free to contact Christian Cziommer if you are interested in joining the Cardinals practice session or academy training.
