We can not imagine a better mentor than Tampa Bay!
Thank you, Mark, Karen and Tampa Bay Australian Labradoodles for helping us find our forever breed of dog! Your help throughout the selection process for our Lucy resulted in the perfect family pet. She is everything we wanted, and then some. You truly listened to our wants and helped us select a puppy that not only fits our family, but is as happy with us as we are with her! We look forward to many years with our little gal! You sincerely want to make sure that your dogs and their offspring represent only the best in the breed standard for the Australian Labradoodle.
As a guardian family for Maya, we have been able to learn what it takes to forge a breeder/guardian relationship that truly allows for all parties to benefit- since Maya came to us as an adult, it is your careful attention to the people and pet dynamics that has made this a mutually beneficial arrangement for humans and canines. Maya is able to seamlessly go between your home and ours and be happy in both. It goes without saying that she is loved and a huge part of our family.
As we embark on our new venture as Lucky Country Labradoodles, we can not imagine a better mentor than Tampa Bay Australian Labradoodles. Your efforts in furthering this breed through stock selection, to whelping experience, and on to nurturing the puppy from birth to their eventual forever home is without a doubt what sets you apart from the others. It is very apparent that you go the extra mile because of your love for the breed and that you truly love what you do.

Lucky Country Labradoodle
With extreme joy, I would gladly recommend TampaBay Labradoodles!
Now an update--
Our Augie has charisma plus. She is, compared to all the other dogs we know or encounter in dog parks etc, unusually social with both people and dogs and also incredibly playful with other dogs. She is so confident that she initiates play even with large, physically intimidating dogs (after she has intelligently taken a few seconds to appraise whether they might be aggressive). Not another dog owner passes without commenting on how "joyful" she is.
She is also super athletic--runs like a race horse and swims with gusto, never tiring of either.
Her swimming style is so animated and her pride on ner face so striking that a couple walking on the beach stopped and applauded her as she emerged from the ocean.
Basically, I am in awe of her beauty, grace, social skills, and athletic prowess. I watch her and think : "If I had only been born with such gifts . . . ."
--the Australian Labradoodle is the perfect dog.
Thank you, Tampa Bay Labradoodles, for confirming my research--the Australian Labradoodle is the perfect dog. My husband and I are veteran mutt owners, caring for large mixed-breeds for thirteen years. Dedicated as we were, and as much as we loved our first dogs, I began to research breeds that would allow us to come up for air after years of being swallowed by hair and dander. I was also cautious of personality; one of our first dogs was incredibly affectionate, while the other, I nicknamed "the eighty-pound cat" because she was independent and sparing with her affection. I longed for a dog that would be easier on the furniture, more predictable, and more affectionate, so I began to research breeds, and I mean research breeds. Go ahead--quiz me. I spent two years researching everything, until one day, listening to a Christian radio station, I heard Tampa Bay Labradoodles' advertising. I had heard of this famous "designer dog" but had never given it serious consideration. Out of a desperation to find just the right personality combined with my practical hopes for less shedding, I decided to check out the breed--and needless to say, what I discovered about the breed and about Tampa Bay Labradoodles changed my family's lives.
Jack joined us when he was six months old, his first owner tragically no longer able to care for him. A little wary and intending on starting with a new puppy, we nonetheless gave it a shot; we welcomed this small-medium apricot hairball into our home. And we have never looked back. As a testimony to the Australian Labradoodle's flexibility and socialization skills, he was fully "himself" within three months of entering our family. His ability to adjust to a new forever home was an absolute testimony to his intelligence and his eagerness to love and be loved. After mourning the loss of his first owner, he quickly adjusted to a new home where he would learn to play with the family son, have free reign of the living room sofa (since there is no shedding, oh happy day), and spend afternoons basking in the sun on his favorite locale--the back porch, where he can survey the neighborhood from atop the hill and keep his new people safe and happy from squirrels or other threatening invaders! Jack has the spunk and vivacity to keep us on our toes--couch potato he is not! But the variety and life he has brought to our house is unimaginable. His intelligence, his loyalty, his absolute affection as he snuggles in my lap in front of the television on a chilly winter night, and his limitless sense of humor and clowning are just the start of the joy he has brought this family. Thank you, Tampa Bay Labradoodles, for the perfect dog.
Loving Breeder/Wonderful Breed
My husband & I had discussed purchasing another dog off and on over the last couple of years. We were hesitant as we already have 2 small dogs, which are older. I also suffer from allergies so didn’t want anything that shed. I had heard about Labradoodles being allergy friendly so on a whim, started to search for Labradoodles in our area. I came across the Tampa Bay Australian Labradoodle website and was instantly impressed with the amount of information it contained regarding the breed and care provided by these breeders. As luck would have it, there was one pup remaining from a recent litter, and what a cutie she was. We contacted the Stanford’s to schedule a visit. The Stanford’s opened their home to us and was very patient to answer all of my questions as I read them off my list. It’s very clear that the Stanford’s are very passionate about their dogs and very knowledgeable of the breed and their origin. Of course it was love at first sight. From the minute was saw Maggie Mae, we knew that she would be a perfect fit to our family. She is very smart, well behaved and very loving. Her mellow demeanor has brought calm to our house hold. I truly believe these attributes are due to the nurturing care the Stanford’s give to all of their dogs. All three of our dogs are now best buddies and love to chase each other all over the yard. Our thanks to the Stanford’s for providing us with our wonderful Maggie Mae.

I could not recommend a better breeder/family
Tampa Bay Australian Labradoodles has been one of the most professional breeders we could have ever meet. When we first went to their house to meet all the beautiful dogs, we were so impressed at how passionate and knowledgeable they were about these amazing dogs and answered any and all of our questions about the breed, temperaments and maintenance of the dogs. We were fortunate enough to get one of Mindi and Sir Bradley's final litter puppies and she has out met our expectations 10 fold! These dogs are fantastic, smart, so willing to please and not to mention the most lovable dog we have ever owned! My husband has severe allergies to dogs and Mark and Karen were so patient in our process of testing the dogs out and finally realizing that this would be the first dog we would be able to have in our home that he could actually pet and love on and not start wheezing and sneezing! It has truly been a miracle that we found the perfect breed!!
I could not recommend a better breeder/family with so much integrity and passion about this wonderful breed of dog. We are sold for life! May you continue to make other families as happy as we are with our sweet "Mia".
The Graham Family,
Belle is everything we wanted, expected, and so much more.
Belle has done great! She whimpered a bit through the car trip home but quickly acclimated to her new crate and surroundings. We made a stop to see one set of grandparents who were awed at how cute and cuddly Belle is and the offers started wanting to help "puppysit." She was the "Belle" of the ball with visiting family members all day, who she had at hello. The common theme was how much she looked like a picture or a perfect "toy" (no flaws and extremely cute). You were not kidding about people wanting to know what kind of breed she is. We happily tell them an Australian Labradoodle and about the wonderful people we bought her from in addition to what the breed is and why it is quickly becoming evermore popular.
Last night went well with some whimpering but we reassured her to give her confidence. She is eating Life's Abundance very well and took her vitamin readily this morning. Her owners are still learning her language of when she needs to go outside. So far only one miss and its on us.
Being I am the virgin puppy owner within one day I realized how I missed out my entire life to this point having never had a Belle of my own all these years. Belle shows unconditional joy to see you in the morning or even when you are just gone for minute and return. She wants to be where you are and part of what you are doing. Very few in anything in life is like that, wow.
Belle loves to be loved. She is quite the charmer. Belle is everything we wanted, expected, and so much more. We look forward to great times together and are grateful we found you. You truly spread joy in what you do and I wanted you to be affirmed for it.
Kindest Regards and Thank You,

Getting to know Karen, Mark and their son Travis has been a pleasure.
A couple of years ago, we lost our beloved German Shepherd, Alexander. We knew that our house was not complete without the unconditional love of a dog, but we had allergy considerations with one of our adult kids. So, we contacted Karen and Mark Stanford, a local breeder for Australian Labradoodles.
We learned about the origin of this special breed of dogs, the breed’s success with allergic individuals, and we became impressed with the work that Karen and Mark do to ensure that the puppies from their breeding litters are brought into the world safely. During their time in the Stanford home new puppies (and all of their parent dogs) are loved and socialized according to strict standards. Families who decide to make a Stanford doodle part of their household are rewarded with a puppy of the highest quality and a wonderful temperament.
Caring for the “Mom Dog” is a huge responsibility. Caring for their puppies is a responsibility and a joy for this family. Together with their son, Travis and a few very privileged individuals the puppies are held, loved, played with and given basics of simple commands. We had not one ‘accident’ with Wally, our little chocolate doodle puppy when he came to our house. He has sailed through two obedience classes as a star pupil and always garners lots of comments about his looks as well as his manners. Even our veterinarian commented, during Wally’s initial visit, that he was amazed that an eight week old puppy would allow him to check his ears, paws, and do a general physical – and surprisingly be rewarded with no resistance - and LOTS of puppy kisses!
We are also fortunate to have added Aladdin’s Darby to our family. She delivered her final litter just after Wally came to live at our home. She and Wally became buddies when he was a tiny pup and together they live with us in perfect harmony. Even a five year old (now retired) doodle was able to transition to our home with no problem at all!
Getting to know Karen, Mark and their son Travis has been a pleasure. We enjoy seeing new litters of puppies and it has been great to learn about the socialization process, which is similar to that of the model ascribed to by the Monks of New Skete [reference the book, How to be Your Dog’s Best Friend, by the Monks of New Skete, www.newskete.com]. If you are looking for the perfect addition to your family, check out these wonderful companions. We never thought we would make a switch in breeds, but we have become enchanted by these wonderful little Australian ‘Doodles’!

Choosing a breeder is not easy!
“Your photos clearly show how much you both love raising puppies and we're very happy that we've chosen you (and Mindi) to produce our puppy. For folks who want to purchase a puppy, choosing a breeder is not an easy task. You both have made it easy for us...”

Heard on Local Radio Station~
I first heard of Tampabay Labradoodles on the Catholic Radio Station, 90.5. My first visit to the Stanford’s house was a great joy. I have since made many visits back to visit the Stanford family and their dogs; I was also there (by grace) during the birthing of one of the liters. Mark, Karen and Travis create a great environment for these dogs, and also a warm welcome to those who come to visit. Their Christian faith is evident in their household, and in the nurturing care that they provide for their dogs.

Life with ( Captain ) Riley
Let us share one of the most wonderful moments that has occurred to us over the past year... Tampa Bay Australian Labradoddles and Captain Riley.
My wife, Gail, and I spent a year looking for a good Australian Labradoddle breeder. Given the work that I do, we were looking for a dog that would be smart, like water, and would be very social and loving with people and "gets it!" when it comes to its place on the boat and with passengers.
We were referred to Tampa Bay Australian Labradoodles and, from the moment we saw their website and made contact, knew they were the place for us. Karen and Mark are really good people...head and shoulders over any breeders we had contacted before. We visited their home when we picked up Riley, met Riley's mom and dad and the rest of the adults and puppies there. We were struck by the care and love shown to them.
Riley is the best! He and I are together 24 hours a day. Well behaved, loving, fun, fabulous with guests on-board, really "gets it" and wants to please. He provides a great deal of joy to the thousands of guests we have the boat.
I know that Riley is the result of the breeding, love and care that Karen and Mark provide.
Our life is filled with the fun and love that Riley provides every day.

We decided to get another one a year later...
We absolutely adored our first Australian labradoodle so much that we decided to get another one a year later. They are both so sweet and fun- loving yet have their own distinctive personalities. The breed is truly amazing and we can't imagine ever getting any other type of dog. Mark and Karen are great breeders as well. You can tell how much they love each and every puppy by the work and commitment they put into breeding. Whenever our dogs go to their house for a visit they act like it is their second home! We feel very fortunate that we were able to add such great dogs to our family through Tampa Bay Australian Labradoodles...
