An account has been established at Florida Blood Services for Tampa Bay Orchid Society. Anyone interested in donating blood in the community must use either the name “Tampa Bay Orchid Society" or Sponsor Code "B0657” when they register on the bloodmobile or at a donor center.
In order for TBOS to get credit for our donations, donors must provide FBS staff with the sponsor code/name at the time of registration. The staff will then register donors under our sponsor code. This way they can track our TBOS donor base.

We support local Charitable organizations with cash donations. Our Community Service Chair selects which chairty these donations will go to to help support those in need. We also participate in seasonal food and toy drives, which are delivered just in time for the Holidays when these donations are needed most.

In cooperation with Joytsna Sharma (University of Florida), several TBOS members volunteered their time to work with Joystna in search of these rare orchids and also to help find new habitats where they will flourish once planted.
