If Jody[S.S.C.]could come and bring a couple of pitches in January we will have a double header, date still to be decided, but possibly Corsendonk Cup and first edition of the League Cup.

With 8 pitches become do able the idea of 2 events in the same date- Corsendonk with a Group Stage with seeded players and then knock out rounds- League Cup with a straight knock out round format, with no seeded players and draw at every round.

We are glad to see that Roberto Mattoni is back in town and eager to play, with him probably we will see again Enzo Dalma and  the brand new Alfonso , in the mean time German and Adolfo the other night played some introductory friendlies and they seem very interested...looking forward to the next tournament: The Corsendonk Cup.

Alex Batacchi won yesterday his 4th edition in a row of the Turkey Classic topping a very competitive field of players.

The Classical tournament reached his fifth edition and will be played at the Batacchi grounds on Sunday November the 8th with the best players of the Savannah Subbuteo club participating.

It is going to be an A.S.A. sanctioned Open tournament.

The first A.S.A. event of the T.B.T.S.C.took place at the Batacchi grounds last Sunday.

It saw two new players participating: Andrea Di Palma and Johnatan Schantz.

Winner Alex Batacchi, runner up Isabel Batacchi, third place Sandro Tarozzi , Fourth place Teo Boscaino, Mj or consolation tournament winner Federico Boscaino.

We are still waiting for getting the A.S.A. approval for the Sunshine Cup in order to declare it the first  T.B.T.S.C. official  open event.

The 2009/10 season opener will be played at the Batacchi grounds on September the 27th, we had some interest already from the Savannah Subbuteo Club.

The Gasparilla Cup was played Sunday August the 16th at the Batacchi Grounds.

10 players attendance.

A great welcome to Josh Knight and Little Bruce or L.B. as he prefer to be called , new members of the Club, they started to play last week and they will come back tonight for a little quadrangular in preparation of the  August the 16th tournaments.

Due to an accident in the main game-room, the tournaments will be postponed to August the 16th.

Both tournaments will be played at the Batacchi grounds August the 2nd 2009 starting from 9.00 a.m.- They might be A.S.A. official open tournaments, we are waiting for the Association approval- stay tuned.

Registration will be closed on July the 31st.
