May meeting May 7th at Pine Island beach

I WOULD LIKE TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOLKS……..

Let's meet at  Pine Island Park at maybe 5 pm (or earlier if you're bored) for a pot luck dinner
meeting. Wade fish, casting  clinics, boating, Kayaking or just yakking. We will close at 
sundown. Parking  is $2 after 5 PM I believe. I will try to reserve shelter but  bring a lawn chair 
anyway.


We will share and share alike in the food we bring so bring some paper plates, drinks, cups etc.
 (County rules state absolutely no alcohol  allowed)

Welcome to the Tarpon Coast Fly Fishers and the joys of fly fishing!

The Tarpon Coast Fly Fishers is a Charter Club of the Federation of Fly Fishers, a worldwide organization, based in Livingston, Montana. This organization represents fly fishers angling in all waters for all species of fish. The FFF is the only worldwide advocate for fly anglers including their education and supporting resources in the world of sport fly fishing. The TCFF is one of some 300 clubs worldwide with 40,000 members in these clubs. The FFF also certifies guides, casting instructors, outfitters and lodges and is active on many fronts in the conservation of our fisheries and waters from Alaska to the south Florida coast. There are 14 regional councils in the U.S. dealing with more regional issues and the management of the organization. The Florida council, now only 5 years old, has the highest rate of membership growth of all councils. The club, recently started in mid 2008, boasts of 40+ members including the renowned angler Flip Pallot of the Walker Key TV series and several local professional guides.

   Tarpon Coast Fly Fishers meets each month in the Spring Hill Florida area to offer its members insight into local fishing, fly casting and fly tying clinics as well as programs from local professionals and our members. Our members are seeking to enjoy fly fishing in the coastal waters and inland fisheries within the counties of Hernando, Citrus and Pasco counties. TCFF endeavors to bring the joy of sport fly fishing to all men and women of all ages.
